| In diesem Jahr werden das 6. Internationale Akkordeon-Kultur- und Kunstfestival "Shanghaier Frühling" und die Internationale Akkordeon-Kunstwoche Shanghai 2024 vom 23. März bis zum 5. April 2024 stattfinden. Tägliche Berichte über die wichtigsten Akkordeon-Veranstaltungen des "Shanghaier Frühlings" finden Sie online unter: 2024Shanghai Samstag, 30. März Shanghai Teenager Accordion Exchange Konzert im Shanghai Broadcasting Art Center mit internationaler Perspektive von Kimmo Mattila, Kevin Friedrich, Zorica und Anica Karakutovska und Harley Jones. Die offizielle Eröffnungszeremonie an diesem Abend findet im New Performing Arts Space des Columba Circle Navy Club mit Top-Akkordeonkünstlern aus Shanghai, dem Jangtse-Delta, Peking-Tianjin-Hebei sowie acht Ländern statt, darunter Italien, Russland, Kanada, New Seeland und Bosnien und Herzegowina. | Akkordeonisten sind eingeladen, am Internationalen Wettbewerb Akordeon Art Plus 2024 für Akkordeon solo, Varieté, Akkordeonorchester, Klavier, Klavierduo und Kammerensembles teilzunehmen. Die Veranstaltung findet vom 28. bis 31. Mai 2024 in Ost-Sarajevo, Republika Srpska, Bosnien und Herzegowina, unter der künstlerischen Leitung der Musikakademie, der Universität von Ost-Sarajevo (Republika Srpska, Bosnien und Herzegowina) und der Vereinigung zur Förderung der akademischen Musik "New Sound" statt. | Das Duo Vilda (Finnland) wird auf dem Kultrún World Music Festival auftreten, das vom 12. bis 14. Juli 2024 im Waterloo Park in Waterloo, Ontario, Kanada, stattfindet. Dieses Festival ist eine "kostenlose, familienfreundliche Veranstaltung, die Besucher und Einwohner gleichermaßen anzieht. Der Zweck des Festivals ist es, Top-Talente aus der ganzen Welt zusammenzubringen, um die Vielfalt zu feiern." Das Duo "Vilda", bestehend aus der Akkordeonistin Viivi Maria Saarenkylä und der einheimischen Samí-Sängerin Hildá Länsman (Finnland), wird am 13. Juli mit einem Programm aus selbst komponierter und geschriebener Originalmusik auftreten, die von der nördlichen Natur, dem traditionellen Samí-Joik und der finnischen Folklore sowie von Popmusik beeinflusst ist! |

| Der Internationale Akkordeonwettbewerb "Dobrany 2024" findet vom 14. bis 16. Juni 2024 in der J. S. Bach-Kunstschule in Dobrany, Tschechische Republik, statt. Er wird von der Akkordeonschule Dobrany in Zusammenarbeit mit der J. S. Bach-Grundkunstschule Dobrany und der Stadt Dobrany organisiert. Der Wettbewerb ist ausschließlich für Akkordeonisten aus der Tschechischen Republik bestimmt, wird aber jedes vierte Jahr mit internationaler Beteiligung durchgeführt. Die Wettbewerbskategorien umfassen Klassen für Solisten, Kammerensembles und Orchester. Einsendeschluss ist der 5. Mai 2024.  Was planen Sie für den Weltakkordeon-Tag, um das Akkordeon in Ihrem Land zu fördern? Der Weltakkordeon-Tag ist am 6. Mai, dem Tag, an dem das Akkordeon 1829 patentiert wurde.Der Weltakkordeon-Tag wurde 2009 von der Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) ins Leben gerufen und bisher sehr erfolgreich, was für das Akkordeon viel positive Resonanz brachte. Ein wichtiger Teil dieser Veranstaltung ist die Website des World Accordion Day. Jeder Verein, jede Gruppe, jedes Orchester, Performer und Lehrer wird gebeten, diese Veranstaltung aktiv zu unterstützen, indem er nationale und lokale Akkordeonaktivitäten an diesem Tag oder am Wochenende, vor oder nach demAkkordeon-Tages, falls dies besser in ein Programm passen sollte. Jeder kann seine Aktivitäten zum Weltakkordeon-Tag auf der Website registrieren und danach einen Bericht über seine Veranstaltung verfassen. Keine Veranstaltung ist zu groß oder zu klein. ALLE Akkordeonveranstaltungen zum Weltakkordeontag sind herzlich willkommen. Dies ist eine CIA - Promotion für das Akkordeon, WAD an der jeder Akkordeonliebhaber teilnehmen und helfen kann, unsere Akkordeonwelt zusammenzubringen und das Akkordeon entsprechend zu fördern. |

| 2022 organisierten die Akkordeonistinnen Lieke op 't Roodt und Ilse Kok ein Konzert zur Feier des Weltakkordeontages(WAD). Es hat ihnen so gut gefallen, dass sie es dieses Jahr, 2024, wiederholen werden. Nicht einmal, sondern zweimal! Das erste Konzert findet am 13. April 2024 ab 19.30 Uhr in der Haupthalle des Irene-Gebäudes in Apeldoorn, Niederlande, statt, das zweite am 20. April 2024 ab 19.30 Uhr in der Hasselt-Kapelle in Tilburg, Niederlande. Auf dem Programm stehen Akkordeon-Solo- und -Duo-Stücke, für Akkordeon arrangierte Renaissancemusik bis hin zu einer brandneuen Komposition für Akkordeon-Duo, die von der Akkordeonistin Ilse Kok geschrieben wurde und während dieser Konzerte uraufgeführt wird. Lieke und Ilse sind außerdem eine Zusammenarbeit mit der Akkordeonistin Ellen Zijm eingegangen, die am 13.  The All-Russian Day of Bayan, Accordion and Harmonica is also Russia's contribution to World Accordion Day (WAD) held on May 6th, because that date clashes with a Russian National Holiday. So for that reason, the All-Russian Day of Bayan, Accordion and Harmonica is held in March annually.The Department of the Bayan and Accordion of the Gnesins RAM established the event with project manager, Friedrich Lips (picture left). Held at the Gnesins RAM Concert Hall in Moscow, Russia, the aim of the event is to become part of a national cultural project. The initiative began in 2010 and demonstrated great enthusiasm in all regions of Russia, both from amateurs and professional musicians, and resulted in a truly national celebration. Accordionist Roman Puneiko performed a series of concerts featuring works by composer and conductor, Volodymyr Runchak in Ukraine from March 20th to 27th, 2024. Concerts were held in Lutsk, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia and Ternopil. |

 The German Harmonica Association (Deutscher Harmonika-Verband e. V. - DHV) will hold the 48th Advanced Training Course for Accordionists in Remscheid, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany from May 21st to 25th, 2024.“The event is aimed at orchestral and solo players as well as music teachers and conductors who want to deepen or expand their previous knowledge in courses with different content and learn interesting facts about the "inner life" of the accordion.” Workshops as follows: • "Rhythms of joy" with Ralf Schwarzien • "Coaching Zone II" with Hans-Günther Kölz (a combined playing and conducting course) • “Upscale Orchestral Playing" with Jörg Mehren • "Ensemble-PUR" with Helmut Quakernack • "The Inner Life of the Accordion" with Tristan Kindel Registration deadline is April 14th, 2024. | Jukka-Pekka Kuusela, well-known Finnish accordionist and teacher at the Kuhmo Music Institute, (previous student of Friedrich Lips) organized a celebration concert in two parts in conjunction with the National Accordion Day at the Sotkamo Parish Hall,on March 26th, 2024. The concert featured Jukka-Pekka Kuusela’s students from Kuhmo and senior accordion groups from Sotkamo. Their program consisted of solo and different accordion ensemble performances, including music by J.S. Bach, W.A. Mozart, J. Brahms, M. Murto, A. Groethe, S. Berinsky, V. Vesterinen, folk tunes and traditional Finnish accordion music. The day celebrates the birthday of Viljo Vesterinen, well known Finnish accordionist from the first half of the 20th century, and its purpose is to popularize accordion music for audiences. At this concert the hall was full and the audience met the artists with great enthusiasm. |

The masterclass and open discussion take place from 2pm to 2.45pm, then a performance from 3pm to 4pm. The duo consists of Elena Fainshtein (accordion) and Lucas Kaspar (trombone). |

 The Romano Viazzani Ensemble will open their spring concert season with a performance Concert at St James’s Church, Sussex Gardens, London, England on April 20th, 2024 at 7.30pm.“The Ensemble will play a selection of music from their London Tango album, some traditional Argentine tango and one or two stunning new arrangements. For this concert they will be joined by soprano Luciana Di Bella.” The ensemble includes Romano Viazzani (accordion & bandoneon), Nick Pini (double bass), John Bailey (piano), Jonathan Preiss (guitar), Barabara Dziewiecka Data (violin) and Jacqui Tate (mezzo soprano) & Luciana Di Bella (soprano). |

| Granny’s Attic will begin their 15th Anniversary Tour 2024 with a performances at The Forum Music Studios in Darlington, County Durham, England on April 25th, 2024. The group includes Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne (melodeon, anglo concertina, vocals), George Sansome (guitar, vocals) and Lewis Wood (violin, vocals. | The Accordion Viel-Harmonie Salzburg ensemble will perform a concert at the Bachschmiede Wals Arts Centre in Wals-Siezenheim, Salzburg, Austria on April 28th, 2024 from 5pm. The event will be held as part of the HVO - Harmonika Association of Austria 70th anniversary celebrations. The ensemble was created on the initiative of the HVÖ and its President and is made up of talented and dedicated members of the association.
