 Sehen Sie sich die Fotogalerie an: XVIDaniHarmonikeBereits zum 16. Mal organisierte die Musikschule „Kornelije Stanković“ das inzwischen traditionsreiche Festival „Dani Harmonike“ in Bijeljina/Ugljevik BIH. Neben Konzerten und Meisterklassen wurden Wettbewerbe für Solisten, Kammerensembles und Orchester veranstaltet, bewertet von einer internationalen Fachjury, die sich aus renommierten und ausgewiesenen Musikpädagogen und Interpreten aus mehreren Ländern zusammensetzte. Dank der hervorragenden Organisation, hoher Bewertungskriterien und großartiger Gäste erlangte das Festival nach Meinung vieler prominenter Musikkritiker inzwischen große Reputation. Im heurigen Jahr trafen sich etwa 120 junge Akkordeonist:innen aus 15 Ländern (erstmals mit Chenxin Yu sogar eine Kandidatin aus China!), die in 11 Solo-, 5 Unterhaltungs- sowie 3 Kammermusik- und 2 Orchester-Kategorien ihre jeweils Besten ermittelten. Viele Teilnehmer überraschten die internationale Jury durch ihre bereits in jungen Jahren sehr reifen Interpretationen. Neu war in diesem Jahr, dass die höchste Solo-Kategorie „Accordion Euro Coupe“ in zwei Runden ausgetragen wurde, wodurch Niveau und Vielfalt der Darbietungen weiter gesteigert werden konnten. Während in der klassischen Kategorie der Schwede Leo Florin Muravjov, Student in der Klasse von Friedrich Lips an der Moskauer Gnesin-Akademie, eine Klasse für sich war, erspielte sich der Italiener Emanuele Viti in überzeugender Manier den 1. Platz in der Unterhaltungsmusik. Sehr erfreulich aus österreichischer Sicht waren die Leistungen des Grazers Marko Maletić, der sich in seiner Kategorie für Unterhaltungsmusik durchsetzte und Österreich beim internationalen CIA-Wettbewerb Coupe Mondiale in Castelfidardo (Italien) im Herbst vertreten wird. Die Abendkonzerte wurden dieses Jahr von Emanuele Viti (Italien), Leo Florin (Schweden), Luca Bello (Italien), Chenxin Yu (China), Djordje Perić und Nemanja Kalajdžić bestritten. Hazim Mehmedić (BIH) hatte im Vorjahr die höchste Punktezahl aller Teilnehmer des Festivals erreicht und war deshalb als Gastsolist eingeladen. Absoluter Star des Festivals war aber Juri Schischkin aus Russland, der durch seine überragenden Interpretationen von Werken verschiedener Epochen das Publikum beeindruckte und zu wahren Begeisterungsstürmen mitriss. Einmal mehr hat Slavisa Perić als Organisator auch die 16. Edition der „Dani Harmonike“ möglich gemacht. Anfang Dezember soll in Graz (Österreich) das nächste „Akkordeonfest“ folgen. | Fabio Furia wird am 72. Ljubjana Festival (in Slowenien) teilnehmen und vom 25. bis 29. Juli 2024 einen Bandoneon-Meisterkurs geben. Der Kurs richtet sich an Akkordeonisten oder Ensembles, die mehr über die spezifische Aufführungspraxis des Tangos erfahren möchten. Jeden Sommer leistet das Ljubljana Festival einen wichtigen Beitrag zum kulturellen Leben von Ljubljana mit einem sorgfältig ausgewählten Programm, das eine Vielzahl von Genres abdeckt, darunter Ballett, Oper und Theaterproduktionen, Musicals, Kammer- und Sinfoniekonzerte, die Internationale Kunstkolonie, Meisterkurse, Kinder- und Jugendworkshops, das Ljubljana Festival auf der Ljubljanica und vieles mehr. Mai 2024 in Powell River, British Columbia, Kanada, stattfinden.Die Veranstaltung bietet eine Vielzahl von Konzerten, einen Akkordeon-Meisterkurs mit der Gastdozentin Jelena Milojevic, Orchesterauftritte, ein Eröffnungskonzert (mit besonderen musikalischen Gästen aus Vancouver, Roberts Creek und Vancouver Island) sowie ein völlig neues Akkordeon-Kabarett. | Was planen Sie für den Weltakkordeon-Tag, um das Akkordeon in Ihrem Land zu fördern? Der Weltakkordeon-Tag ist am 6. Mai, dem Tag, an dem das Akkordeon 1829 patentiert wurde. Der Weltakkordeon-Tag wurde 2009 von der Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) ins Leben gerufen und bisher sehr erfolgreich, was für das Akkordeon viel positive Resonanz brachte. Ein wichtiger Teil dieser Veranstaltung ist die Website des World Accordion Day. Jeder Verein, jede Gruppe, jedes Orchester, Performer und Lehrer wird gebeten, diese Veranstaltung aktiv zu unterstützen, indem er nationale und lokale Akkordeonaktivitäten an diesem Tag oder am Wochenende, vor oder nach demAkkordeon-Tages, falls dies besser in ein Programm passen sollte. Jeder kann seine Aktivitäten zum Weltakkordeon-Tag auf der Website registrieren und danach einen Bericht über seine Veranstaltung verfassen. Keine Veranstaltung ist zu groß oder zu klein. ALLE Akkordeonveranstaltungen zum Weltakkordeontag sind herzlich willkommen. Dies ist eine CIA - Promotion für das Akkordeon, WAD an der jeder Akkordeonliebhaber teilnehmen und helfen kann, unsere Akkordeonwelt zusammenzubringen und das Akkordeon entsprechend zu fördern. |

Mai: Halle der dekorativen Künste, Prag, 19 Uhr - 5. Mai: Auditorium der Grundschule, Dolní Brežany, 18 Uhr - 6.  Grayson Masefield (Bild links) wird am 11. Mai 2024 ein Konzert mit dem Titel „Music for our Mothers“ geben. Grayson Masefield widmet diesen Auftritt dem Weltakkordeontag (WAD).North Shore Brass ist eine renommierte Blaskapelle der Klasse A mit Sitz in Takapuna an der Nordküste von Auckland und einer Akademie von über 110 Musikern. Es wird Solostücke von Grayson geben sowie einen gemeinsamen Auftritt mit der North Shore Brass unter der Leitung von Harmen Vanhoorne. Das Konzert in der North Harbour Lounge, North Harbour Stadium in Albany, Auckland, Neuseeland, wird außerdem von der aufstrebenden North Shore Brass Academy Band unter der Leitung von Billy Middleton eröffnet. Dieses Kabarettkonzert verspricht Musik aus aller Welt, um unsere Mütter zu feiern. |

| Our current accordion teacher is moving on at the end of this term and therefore we need to recruit a new accordion teacher to begin work in September 2024. We have a number of options and have flexibility in how we recruit: 1) If a candidate is interested in accordion teaching only, we can offer a part time job on an hourly rate. 2) If a candidate can do accordion teaching and another instrument (i.e. piano or organ) we can offer increased hours. 3) If a candidate can do accordion teaching and is willing to do some whole class melodica teaching we can offer increased hours, including up to full time employment. They need to be able to teach classical button accordion (c-system) and piano accordion, have a strong interest in education, and experience of working with children. We will also consider EU or international applications for a full time role. The closing date for applications is Monday 13th May 2024, at 12 noon. | Stéphanie Rodriguez will entertain at The Dansant L’Air du Temps in Saint-Christophe-sur-Dolaison, Haute-Loire Department, France on May 5th, 2024. Stéphanie has been playing the accordion since she was eight years old and has appeared on TV 8 Mont Blanc and BFM TV television. On the occasion of the Fête de la Musique, she was selected by TF1 to represent the accordion on Jean Pierre Pernaut's 13 o'clock newscast, playing in front of more than 5.9 million viewers.  The Saarland Accordion Association will hold an Accordion Course at the Saarland State Academy for Musical and Cultural Education in Ottweiler, Grmany from May 8th to 12th, 2024.The course is aimed at accordion students from the age of eight and will include one-to-one lessons which will work with the participants on prepared pieces and promote their playing skills individually. In addition, the interaction is to be further developed through experimental projects, such as film music or improvisation groups. Supervision during the entire seminar will be provided by the Saarland Accordion Association. Lecturers are Stephan Bahr, Kerstin Bludau-Weitzel and Marius Staible.
