 Ver la galería de fotos: XVIDaniHarmonikePor decimosexta vez, la escuela de música “Kornelije Stankovic” organizó el festival tradicional “Dani Harmonike” en Bijeljina/Ugljevik, Bosnia y Herzegovina. Además de conciertos y clases magistrales, se llevaron a cabo concursos para solistas, conjuntos de cámara y orquestas, juzgados por un jurado internacional de expertos compuesto por reconocidos y probados educadores musicales e intérpretes de varios países. Gracias a la excelente organización, los altos criterios de evaluación y los fantásticos invitados, el festival ha adquirido una gran reputación según muchos destacados críticos musicales. Este año se reunieron alrededor de 120 jóvenes acordeonistas de 15 países (¡por primera vez incluso un candidato de China!) que determinaron lo mejor en 11 categorías de solista, cinco de entretenimiento, tres de música de cámara y dos de orquesta. Muchos participantes sorprendieron al jurado internacional con sus actuaciones muy maduras, incluso a una edad temprana. La novedad de este año fue que la máxima categoría en solitario, “Accordion Euro Coupe”, se celebró en dos rondas, lo que aumentó aún más el nivel y la diversidad de las actuaciones. Mientras que el sueco Leo Florin Muravjov, alumno de Friedrich Lips en la Academia Gnesin de Moscú, era único en la categoría clásica, el italiano Emanuele Viti obtuvo de manera convincente el primer puesto en música ligera. Desde el punto de vista austriaco, los logros de Marko Maletic de Graz fueron muy satisfactorios, ya que ganó en la categoría de música ligera y representará a Austria en el concurso internacional de la CIA Coupe Mondiale en Castelfidardo (Italia) en otoño. Este año, los conciertos nocturnos estuvieron a cargo de Emanuele Viti (Italia), Leo Florin (Suecia), Luca Bello (Italia), Chenxin Yu (China), Djordje Peric y Nemanja Kalajdžic. Hazim Mehmedic (BIH) logró el año pasado el mayor número de puntos de todos los participantes del festival y, por lo tanto, fue invitado como solista invitado. La estrella absoluta del festival fue Yuri Shishkin de Rusia, quien impresionó enormemente al público con sus excelentes interpretaciones de obras de diferentes épocas y les inspiró un verdadero entusiasmo. Una vez más Slavisa Peric, como organizadora, hizo posible la 16ª edición de “Dani Harmonike”. | Fabio Furia will take part in the 72nd Ljubjana Festival (held in Slovenia) by presenting a bandoneon masterclass from July 25th to 29th, 2024. The course will be open to accordionists or ensembles wishing to learn more about the specific performance practice of tango. Every summer the Ljubljana Festival makes an important contribution to the cultural life of Ljubljana with a carefully selected programme covering a wide variety of genres, including ballet, opera and theatrical productions, musicals, chamber and symphony concerts, the International Art Colony, master classes, children’s and youth workshops, Ljubljana Festival on the River Ljubljanica and much more. | ¿Qué estás haciendo para el Día Mundial del Acordeón (World Accordion Day) para promover el acordeón en tu país? El día mundial del acordeón es el 6 de mayo, que es el día en que se patentó el acordeón en 1829. El Día Mundial del Acordeón fue iniciado en el 2009 por la CIA y ha tenido mucho éxito, generando mucha publicidad positiva para el acordeón. Una parte clave de este evento es el sitio web del Día Mundial del Acordeón. A cada asociación, grupo, orquesta, intérprete y maestro, se le pide que apoye activamente este evento alentando que se realicen este día actividades de acordeón nacional y local en su país o el fin de semana a ambos lados del Día del Acordeón, si eso fuera más conveniente. Todos pueden registrar su actividad del Día Mundial del Acordeón en el sitio web y luego enviar un informe de su evento para ese sitio web. Ningún evento es demasiado grande o demasiado pequeño.  Grayson Masefield (foto de la izquierda) realizará un concierto titulado “Música para nuestras madres” el 11 de mayo de 2024. Grayson Masefield dedica esta actuación al Día Mundial del Acordeón (WAD).North Shore Brass es una banda de música de renombre y categoría A con sede en Takapuna, en la costa norte de Auckland, con una academia de más de 110 músicos. Habrá piezas solistas de Grayson, así como una actuación conjunta con North Shore Brass dirigida por Harmen Vanhoorne. El concierto, celebrado en el North Harbour Lounge, North Harbour Stadium en Albany, Auckland, Nueva Zelanda, también contará con la prometedora North Shore Brass Academy Band bajo la dirección de Billy Middleton abriendo el evento. | Our current accordion teacher is moving on at the end of this term and therefore we need to recruit a new accordion teacher to begin work in September 2024. We have a number of options and have flexibility in how we recruit: 1) If a candidate is interested in accordion teaching only, we can offer a part time job on an hourly rate. 2) If a candidate can do accordion teaching and another instrument (i.e. piano or organ) we can offer increased hours. 3) If a candidate can do accordion teaching and is willing to do some whole class melodica teaching we can offer increased hours, including up to full time employment. They need to be able to teach classical button accordion (c-system) and piano accordion, have a strong interest in education, and experience of working with children. We will also consider EU or international applications for a full time role. The closing date for applications is Monday 13th May 2024, at 12 noon. | Stéphanie Rodriguez will entertain at The Dansant L’Air du Temps in Saint-Christophe-sur-Dolaison, Haute-Loire Department, France on May 5th, 2024. Stéphanie has been playing the accordion since she was eight years old and has appeared on TV 8 Mont Blanc and BFM TV television. On the occasion of the Fête de la Musique, she was selected by TF1 to represent the accordion on Jean Pierre Pernaut's 13 o'clock newscast, playing in front of more than 5.9 million viewers.  The Saarland Accordion Association will hold an Accordion Course at the Saarland State Academy for Musical and Cultural Education in Ottweiler, Grmany from May 8th to 12th, 2024.The course is aimed at accordion students from the age of eight and will include one-to-one lessons which will work with the participants on prepared pieces and promote their playing skills individually. In addition, the interaction is to be further developed through experimental projects, such as film music or improvisation groups. Supervision during the entire seminar will be provided by the Saarland Accordion Association. Lecturers are Stephan Bahr, Kerstin Bludau-Weitzel and Marius Staible.
