 Le HVÖ Harmonikaverband Österreichs fêtera son 70e anniversaire avec trois grands concerts à Perchtoldsdorf près de Vienne, à Saalfelden (Salzbourg) et à St. Peter-Freienstein (Styrie) ! Ils invitent cordialement tout le monde à célébrer avec eux et à participer et profiter des moments forts musicaux.Trois dates de concerts : • 14 avril 2024 – Concert de gala grandiose pour commencer les célébrations organisées dans le château historique de Perchtoldsdorf, à Vienne. En mettant l'accent sur l'accordéon et l'orchestre d'accordéons, le concert présentera des interprétations d'œuvres originales bien connues des dernières décennies par divers ensembles et orchestres autrichiens. De plus, des prestations musicales seront faites avec l'harmonica de Styrie, le bandonéon, l'harmonica et l'harmonica de Schrammel. • 15 juin 2024 – Concert anniversaire à Saalfelden, Salzbourg. Ce concert proposera l'accordéon en combinaison avec l'harmonica de Styrie, le bandonéon et l'harmonica, ainsi qu’avec d'autres instruments. • 12 octobre 2024 – Concert anniversaire final à St. Peter-Freienstein, Styrie, où l'harmonica de Styrie sera au premier plan. L'accordéon, le bandonéon et l'harmonica seront également largement représentés. En 2024, le HVÖ souhaite également remercier Werner Weibert (photo de gauche), qui fête cette année son 15e anniversaire en tant que président de l'association, pour son engagement local et international. Sous sa présidence soutenue par ses membres actifs du conseil d'administration, le HVÖ a été un organisme important pour le monde de l'accordéon et de l'harmonica en Europe. Werner Weibert a reçu en 2018 en Finlande le CIA Merit Award, reconnaissant sa contribution exceptionnelle au mouvement international de l'accordéon. Le HVÖ est membre premier votant de la CIA depuis ses débuts et le HVÖ a accueilli la Coupe Mondiale en 1960, 1970, 1983 et 2014. Le HVO a organisé de nombreux festivals internationaux ainsi que des concours internationaux pour l'accordéon Steirische (diatonique). tout au long de son histoire. Sur le site Internet de HVÖ on lit : « Célébrons ensemble cette année anniversaire musicale et découvrons la diversité des sons d'harmonica en Autriche. Attendez-vous à des concerts passionnants, des compétitions impressionnantes et des moments d’émotion qui reflètent la puissance de la musique de l’accordéon et de l’harmonica. |

 Le Festival des musiques du monde 2025 se tiendra à Innsbruck, en Allemagne, du 29 mai au 1er juin 2025, organisé par l'Association allemande de l'harmonica (Deutscher Harmonika-Verband e. V. - DHV).Le 14ème festival proposera des concours avec des catégories pour accordéon, harmonica et harmonica de Styrie. De plus, une variété de concerts et une grandiose soirée des nations au Congresshaus Innsbruck caractérisent ce festival qui, jusqu'à Covid, avait lieu tous les trois ans. Nous publierons de plus amples informations dès qu’elles seront disponibles. |

| Les 10èmes Journées Internationales de l'Accordéon à Prague 2024 se tiendront du 24 au 27 octobre 2024 à Prague, en République tchèque. Le concert d'ouverture du 24 octobre aura lieu dans la salle du Musée des Arts Appliqués de Prague et réunira des artistes invités internationaux. L'événement comprendra des compétitions juniors, seniors et d'orchestre, des concerts de gala et se terminera par un concert des lauréats. La date limite d’inscription est le 23 septembre 2024. De plus amples détails seront communiqués dès qu’ils seront disponibles. |

| Le 3ème Prix Diano della Fisarmonica Diatonica (3ème Prix Diano pour l'Accordéon Diatonique) aura lieu au Centro Parrochiale "Piergiorgio Frassati" à Prato Perillo, Teggiano, Campanie, Italie le 3 mars 2024, organisé par l'Alliance Diatonique Internationale (I.D.A. ). L'I.D.A. est une association de promotion sociale et culturelle fondée en 2019 en Italie par un groupe de jeunes musiciens/professeurs d'accordéon diatonique. Leur intention est de diffuser cet instrument et d'organiser des événements de calibre national et international, en collaboration avec des représentants du monde entier. Que faîtes vous, la Journée de l’accordéon? – Internationalby Harley Jones |

 Que faites vous la Journée de l’accordéon (World Accordion Day - WAD) pour promovoir l’accordéon dans votre pays ?La journée de l’accordéon est le 6 mai, qui est le jour où l’accordéon a été inventé en 1829. La journée de l’accordéon a été créé en 2009 par le CIA et a rencontré beaucoup de succès depuis, donnant une image positive de l’accordéon. Un des maillons essentiels de cet évènement est le site web de la Journée de l’accordéon. Chaque association, groupe, orchestre, joueur ou enseignant sont priés de soutenir activement cet évènement en proposant ce jour-là, dans leur pays, des activités nationales et locales autour de l’accordéon. Cela peut s’organiser aussi le week end d’avant ou après si c’était plus commode. Chacun peut inscrire son activité pour la journée de l’accordéon sur le site web et envoyer a posteriori un compte rendu qui sera publié sur le site. Aucun évènement n’est trop gros ou ni trop petit. Tous les évènements liés à l’accordéon pour célébrer la journée de l’accordéon seront les bienvenus. C’est une campagne organisée par le Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) pour l’accordéon où tout féru d’accordéon peut participer, le but étant de renforcer les liens de la communauté autour de l’accordéon et de promouvoir l’instrument. |

Tuulikki Bartosik (accordion, kannel, vocals, electronics) and Sander Mölder (keyboards, electronics).Swedish-Estonian musician Tuulikki Bartosik (accordionist, composer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist, with degrees in classical and traditional music) has been nominated in the 2024 Songlines Music Awards “Best Artist” category for her latest album “Playscapes” (Efni Records). Playscapes also received recognition as the Folktronica of the Year by Lira Musikmagasin. "The mixing of acoustic folk music with sensitive electronic embellishments is far from obvious…however, accordionist Tuulikki Bartosik's latest album is a prime example of how seamlessly two seemingly disparate expressions can blend together into something so natural." |

| The Orquesta Típica Sans Souci (Argentina) will begin their 2024 concert tour of Switzerland and Germany next month. The tour is a celebration of 25 years of tango concert tours. Dates as follows: • March 20th, 2024 – Coco Gardel in Lausanne, Vaud, Switzerland • March 22nd, 2024 - Club Argentina in Erfurt, Thuringia, Germany • March 23rd, 2024 - Tango Festival Rhein-Ruhr in Witten, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany • March 24th, 2024 – Tango Show in Schwerin, Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, Germany • March 31st, 2024 – Oster Tango Festival in Basel, Switzerland The Orquesta Típica Sans Souci was created in 1998 in Buenos Aires, with the specific purpose of promoting (for today’s audience), the musical style of Miguel Caló and Osmar Maderna’s typical orchestras. The CD, released by Zoe Music is the soundtrack of the theatrical performance of "Golden Oars" based on the novel by well-known writer Maria Papagianni and directed by Athanasia Kalogianni. The lyrics have been written by Konstantinos Rodis and Markella Selianitou. Actors: Eleni Tzagkaraki, Nikos Anastassopoulos, Vangelis Pitsilos, Eugenia Vissariou, Christos Loizos and Madalena Papadatou. Narrations: Nikos Orfanos and Vasiliki Makri. |

 In Partnership with the UK Association of Accordion Teachers (UKAAT) the Diocese Of Leeds Music are holding a Workshop Day for accordion teachers & students on February 24th, 2024 in the Wheeler Hall at Leeds Cathedral in Leeds, England. This will be a day for open discussion, sharing resources and meeting other teachers. Participants are encouraged to bring their accordions for participation in some of the workshops. All systems of accordions welcome. Agenda for the day is: 10:00 am - 10:30 am: Coffee & registration 10:30 am - 10:45 am: Welcome - UKAAT’s aims - Introductions 10:45 am - 11:00 am: Introduction to DOLM (Diocese of Leeds Music) with Valerie Barr and Anthony Beckwith 11:00 am: The Basics - set up, repertoire & resources, different systems, challenges, sharing experiences. What to teach in the first lesson? UK-based folk accordionist Paul Hutchinson will take the specialist workshop of the day and Djordje Gajic (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) will give a virtual presentation. |

| The 3rd Annual Accordion Extravaganza will be held at the James Hall, Powell River Academy of Music in Powell River, British Columbia, Canada on February 25th, 2024 at 2pm. Accordionist Karina Inkster will perform with Walter Martella and Terry Martyniuk for an hour of classical, jazz, and tango music on accordion, piano, and percussion. Their program will include music by Galliano, Bacalov and Piazzolla as well as "new selections, and older favourites in new arrangements." Tickets available at the door by donation. All donations go directly to the third annual Qathet Accordion Fest in May 2024. |

 Serbian accordionist Nikola Djoric who lives in Austria, will make a concert tour of Austria next month. With the sound spectrum of the accordion, Nikola Djoric explores previously unknown timbres in the repertoire from Bach to Mozart to Tchaikovsky and Piazzolla, whereby he does not create arrangements but rather maintains fidelity to the original musical text. As a soloist and chamber musician, accordionist Djoric has appeared on important concert stages, including the Musikverein Wien, the Cologne Philharmonic, the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Gasteig Munich, the Beethovenfest Bonn and others. His tour schedule will include the following concerts: March 1st - With Wiener Symphoniker at Musikverein in Vienna March 8th - Sparkassen Lounge Neunkirchen, 7.30 pm March 9th - St. Andrä im Lavanttal, Musikcafé – Live, 6.30 pm March 10th - Schloss Albeck (Albeck Castle), 11 am and at the Harmonikazentrum in Graz, 7.30 pm |

 L'Orchestre d'Accordéon de Londres (photo de gauche) commencera les célébrations de son 25ème Jubilé avec un concert conjoint 'Bellows Across Borders' avec l'Orchestre d'Accordéon de Haarlem (Haarlems Accordeonorkest - Pays-Bas - photo ci-dessous) dirigé par Leo van Lierop, au Tabernacle de Notting Hill, Londres, Angleterre le 7 avril 2024 à 14h.Le concert présentera un large éventail de musiques, de Bach aux musiques de films à succès, tels que Le Roi Lion et Les Aventuriers de l'Arche Perdue, ainsi que de la musique originale pour orchestre d'accordéon. | L'Association américaine des accordéonistes (AAA) est ravie d'annoncer que son festival du 86ème anniversaire se tiendra à West Conshohocken, en Pennsylvanie, dans la région de Philadelphie aux États-Unis, du 12 au 14 juillet 2024. Le festival comprendra des spectacles et des ateliers avec divers artistes invités, des concours pour les étudiants de tout âge et de tout niveau, des opportunités de spectacle, trois orchestres du festival, des vendeurs, des expositions et plusieurs stands gastronomiques. Certaines améliorations à noter pour le festival de cette année : des heures d'ouverture prolongées dans les salles d'exposition, un répertoire d'orchestre du festival adapté à un plus large éventail de niveau de jeu, un calendrier plus resserré pour réduire le nombre total de nuits d'hôtel nécessaires, des créneaux de représentation pour les amateurs solos et ensembles, et davantage de fonctions de restauration, l’idée étant de promouvoir la convivialité entre les festivaliers.
