 La HVÖ Harmonikaverband Österreichs celebrará su 70 cumpleaños con tres grandes conciertos en festivales en Perchtoldsdorf, cerca de Viena, en Saalfelden (Salzburgo) y en San Pedro Freienstein (Estiria). Invitan cordialmente a todos a celebrar con ellos y a participar y disfrutar de los momentos musicales más destacados.Tres fechas del calendario de conciertos: • 14 de abril de 2024 – Grandioso Concierto de Gala para comenzar las celebraciones que se llevarán a cabo en el histórico Castillo de Perchtoldsdorf, Viena. Centrándose en el acordeón y la orquesta de acordeón, el concierto contará con interpretaciones de conocidas obras originales de las últimas décadas de varios conjuntos y orquestas austriacas. Además se ofrecerán actuaciones de armónica de Estiria, bandoneón, armónica y armónica Schrammel. • 15 de junio de 2024 – Concierto de aniversario en Saalfelden, Salzburgo. Este concierto incluirá el acordeón en combinación con la armónica, bandoneón y armónica de Estiria, y en combinación con otros instrumentos. • 12 de octubre de 2024 – Concierto final de aniversario en St. Peter-Freienstein, Estiria, donde la armónica de Estiria estará en primer plano. La HVÖ ha sido miembro con derecho a voto de la CIA desde sus inicios y la HVÖ ha acogido la Coupe Mondiale en 1960, 1970, 1983 y 2014. La HVO ha organizado numerosos festivales internacionales y también concursos internacionales de acordeón Steirische (diatónico). a lo largo de su historia.  El Festival de Música Mundial (2025 World Music Festival) 2025 se llevará a cabo en Innsbruck, Alemania del 29 de mayo al 1 de junio de 2025, organizado por la Asociación Alemana de Armónica (Deutscher Harmonika-Verband e. V. - DHV).El 14º festival contará con concursos en las categorías de acordeón, armónica y armónica de Estiria. Además, una gran variedad de conciertos y una grandiosa velada de naciones en el Congresshaus Innsbruck caracterizan este festival que, hasta el Covid, se celebraba cada tres años. El concierto inaugural el 24 de octubre se llevará a cabo en la sala del Museo de Artes Aplicadas de Praga e incluirá artistas invitados internacionales. El evento incluirá concursos juveniles, senior y de orquesta, conciertos de gala y finalizará con un concierto de los ganadores de premios. | The 3rd Premio Diano della Fisarmonica Diatonica (3rd Diano Award for the Diatonic Accordion) will be held at the Centro Parrochiale “Piergiorgio Frassati” in Prato Perillo, Teggiano, Campania, Italy on March 3rd, 2024, organised by the International Diatonic Alliance (I.D.A.). The I.D.A. is an association for social and cultural promotion founded in 2019 in Italy by a group of young diatonic accordion musicians/teachers, with the intention of disseminating this instrument and organizing events of national and international caliber, in collaboration with exponents from all over the world.  ¿Qué estás haciendo para el Día Mundial del Acordeón (World Accordion Day) para promover el acordeón en tu país? El día mundial del acordeón es el 6 de mayo, que es el día en que se patentó el acordeón en 1829.El Día Mundial del Acordeón fue iniciado en el 2009 por la CIA y ha tenido mucho éxito, generando mucha publicidad positiva para el acordeón. Una parte clave de este evento es el sitio web del Día Mundial del Acordeón. A cada asociación, grupo, orquesta, intérprete y maestro, se le pide que apoye activamente este evento alentando que se realicen este día actividades de acordeón nacional y local en su país o el fin de semana a ambos lados del Día del Acordeón, si eso fuera más conveniente. Todos pueden registrar su actividad del Día Mundial del Acordeón en el sitio web y luego enviar un informe de su evento para ese sitio web. Ningún evento es demasiado grande o demasiado pequeño. TODOS los eventos de acordeón que celebran el Día Mundial del Acordeón (World Accordion Day) son bienvenidos. Tuulikki Bartosik (accordion, kannel, vocals, electronics) and Sander Mölder (keyboards, electronics).Swedish-Estonian musician Tuulikki Bartosik (accordionist, composer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist, with degrees in classical and traditional music) has been nominated in the 2024 Songlines Music Awards “Best Artist” category for her latest album “Playscapes” (Efni Records). Playscapes also received recognition as the Folktronica of the Year by Lira Musikmagasin. "The mixing of acoustic folk music with sensitive electronic embellishments is far from obvious…however, accordionist Tuulikki Bartosik's latest album is a prime example of how seamlessly two seemingly disparate expressions can blend together into something so natural." |

| The Orquesta Típica Sans Souci (Argentina) will begin their 2024 concert tour of Switzerland and Germany next month. The tour is a celebration of 25 years of tango concert tours. Dates as follows: • March 20th, 2024 – Coco Gardel in Lausanne, Vaud, Switzerland • March 22nd, 2024 - Club Argentina in Erfurt, Thuringia, Germany • March 23rd, 2024 - Tango Festival Rhein-Ruhr in Witten, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany • March 24th, 2024 – Tango Show in Schwerin, Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, Germany • March 31st, 2024 – Oster Tango Festival in Basel, Switzerland The Orquesta Típica Sans Souci was created in 1998 in Buenos Aires, with the specific purpose of promoting (for today’s audience), the musical style of Miguel Caló and Osmar Maderna’s typical orchestras. The CD, released by Zoe Music is the soundtrack of the theatrical performance of "Golden Oars" based on the novel by well-known writer Maria Papagianni and directed by Athanasia Kalogianni. The lyrics have been written by Konstantinos Rodis and Markella Selianitou. Actors: Eleni Tzagkaraki, Nikos Anastassopoulos, Vangelis Pitsilos, Eugenia Vissariou, Christos Loizos and Madalena Papadatou. Narrations: Nikos Orfanos and Vasiliki Makri. |

 In Partnership with the UK Association of Accordion Teachers (UKAAT) the Diocese Of Leeds Music are holding a Workshop Day for accordion teachers & students on February 24th, 2024 in the Wheeler Hall at Leeds Cathedral in Leeds, England. This will be a day for open discussion, sharing resources and meeting other teachers. Participants are encouraged to bring their accordions for participation in some of the workshops. All systems of accordions welcome. Agenda for the day is: 10:00 am - 10:30 am: Coffee & registration 10:30 am - 10:45 am: Welcome - UKAAT’s aims - Introductions 10:45 am - 11:00 am: Introduction to DOLM (Diocese of Leeds Music) with Valerie Barr and Anthony Beckwith 11:00 am: The Basics - set up, repertoire & resources, different systems, challenges, sharing experiences. What to teach in the first lesson? UK-based folk accordionist Paul Hutchinson will take the specialist workshop of the day and Djordje Gajic (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) will give a virtual presentation. |

| The 3rd Annual Accordion Extravaganza will be held at the James Hall, Powell River Academy of Music in Powell River, British Columbia, Canada on February 25th, 2024 at 2pm. Accordionist Karina Inkster will perform with Walter Martella and Terry Martyniuk for an hour of classical, jazz, and tango music on accordion, piano, and percussion. Their program will include music by Galliano, Bacalov and Piazzolla as well as "new selections, and older favourites in new arrangements." Tickets available at the door by donation. All donations go directly to the third annual Qathet Accordion Fest in May 2024. |

 Serbian accordionist Nikola Djoric who lives in Austria, will make a concert tour of Austria next month. With the sound spectrum of the accordion, Nikola Djoric explores previously unknown timbres in the repertoire from Bach to Mozart to Tchaikovsky and Piazzolla, whereby he does not create arrangements but rather maintains fidelity to the original musical text. As a soloist and chamber musician, accordionist Djoric has appeared on important concert stages, including the Musikverein Wien, the Cologne Philharmonic, the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Gasteig Munich, the Beethovenfest Bonn and others. His tour schedule will include the following concerts: March 1st - With Wiener Symphoniker at Musikverein in Vienna March 8th - Sparkassen Lounge Neunkirchen, 7.30 pm March 9th - St. Andrä im Lavanttal, Musikcafé – Live, 6.30 pm March 10th - Schloss Albeck (Albeck Castle), 11 am and at the Harmonikazentrum in Graz, 7.30 pm |

| La Asociación Estadounidense de Acordeonistas (AAA) se complace en anunciar que su festival del 86 aniversario se llevará a cabo en West Conshohocken, Pensilvania, en el área de Filadelfia, EE. UU., del 12 al 14 de julio de 2024. El festival incluirá actuaciones y talleres de artistas invitados, concursos para estudiantes de todas las edades y niveles de dominio, oportunidades de actuación, tres orquestas del festival, vendedores, exhibiciones y varias funciones gastronómicas.
