In November of 2004, the orchestra was awarded the "Kulturfonds-Preis der Familie von Tucher" and in 2007, the advancement award of Middle Franconia. Concert tours to many European countries, radio and television appearances and several recordings prove the great diversity of the orchestra. In 2016, they celebrated their 70th anniversary. The CD "Accordion Jubilee" is the sixth issue of new literature for accordion orchestra presented by the Nürnberger AO and RUNDEL Music Publications, following the successful CD productions "Accordion Adventure" (2005), "Accordion Panorama" (2009), "Accordion Inspirations" (2011), "Accordion Variations" (2012) and "Accordion Celebration (2014). The jubilee CD exclusively contains compositions and arrangements by Stefan Hippe. |
