The Ladom Ensemble will perform a concert at Darke Hall in Regina, Canada on October 30th, 2022 at 3pm, as part of the Cecilian Chamber Series entitled “Without Borders”. The ensemble “draws from Balkan, Persian, South American, Turkish and European influences and blends it all in a unique instrumentation that is passionate, sophisticated, & wild.” Their program consists of new sounds infused into classics like Prokofiev’s Dance of the Knights, Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No. 5, Chopin’s Tristesse and Canadian East Coast’s folk songs to Argentinian Tangos.
