 Applications are invited for next season’s accordion course at the Accordion Academy, Urbino, Italy, led by Claudio Jacomucci. The course aims to equip accordionists with advanced techniques for performance, and there will also be some input from the dancer Kathleen Delaney re the benefits to musicians by studying The Alexander Technique.The course involves seven meetings of two days each, from October 2011 until June 2012. One of the meetings will take place in Amsterdam. The course will include lectures from visiting well known musicians and professors from other academies and conservatories.
