Le 7ème Festival d'Accordéon de Hallein célèbre son 50ème anniversaire – Autricheby Christine Johnstone |
Le 7ème Festival d'Accordéon de Hallein, qui célébrera cette année le 50ème Anniversaire de l'Orchestre d'Accordéon de Hallein (Akkordeon-Orchester Hallein) aura lieu au Stadttheater Hallein en Autriche, du 16 au 19 mars 2022. Au programme: Le 16 mars : "Next Generation" de l'école de musique Musikum de Salzbourg donnera le coup d'envoi du festival avec un concert au Musikum Hallein à 18h. L'entrée est gratuite. Le 17 mars : Le Duo Klak (photo de gauche) composé de Stefan Kollmann (accordéon) et Markus Fellner (clarinette, percussions et chant) jouera de la musique du monde au Celtic Museum Hallein à 19h30. Le 18 mars : Paier-Valcic-Preinfalk (photo ci-dessous), Klaus Paier (accordéon, bandonéon), Asja Valcic (violoncelle) et Gerald Preinfalk (sax soprano, clarinette, clarinette basse) interpréteront des morceaux de leur album « Fractal Beauty » au Stadttheater Hallein à 19h30 Le 19 mars: Concert festif par l'Orchestre d'Accordéon Hallein (photo du haut) dirigé par le Prof. Alois Breitfuss au Stadttheater Hallein, 18h. L'Association allemande d'harmonica (DHV Landesverband Baden-Württemberg e. V.) organisera une "Semaine d’études Pâques 2022" à l'Académie fédérale pour l'éducation musicale des jeunes de Trossingen, en Allemagne, du 10 au 14 avril 2022. Le but est de jouer, d’être créatif, de continuer à se former et échanger des idées à travers des ateliers, des soirées et des cours dispensés par des intervenants qualifiés. En complément, une panoplie de concerts attrayants à travers la ville de Trossingen. Les participants doivent apporter leurs propres instruments. Vidéo : Hanzhi Wang interprète "Hell und Dunkel" de Sofia Gubaidulina (Arr de Geir Draugsvoll). Le Festival d'accordéon et de musique de chambre "Eufonija" aura lieu du 16 au 22 mai 2022 à plusieurs endroits de la ville de Novi Sad, organisé par l'association "Eufonija" dans le cadre du cluster Matica au sein du programme Heroines. Le Festival d'accordéon et de musique de chambre a été créé à Novi Sad il y a sept ans pour promouvoir et développer la musique savante à l'accordéon. Le thème cette année est la promotion des femmes qui, avec leur énergie et leur engagement, ont créé l'histoire de l'accordéon de la musique savante des 20e et 21e siècles. La grande cérémonie d'ouverture est prévue le 18 mai au Théâtre national serbe sur la place du théâtre, à Novi Sad, en Serbie, avec une performance d’Hanzhi Wang, une accordéoniste dano-chinois, qui sera accompagnée par l'Orchestre symphonique de Vojvodine. Hanzhi interprétera la première mondiale de "Matica", écrite pour l'accordéon et orchestre par l'éminent compositeur iranien Arshia Samsaminia, commandée par le Festival "Eufonija" exclusivement pour cet événement. Ladislav Horák s'est produit en concert avec l'Orchestre de Chambre du Conservatoire de Prague (dirigé par Chuhei Iwasaki - Japon) à la Salle de Concert du Conservatoire le 15 février 2022. Le spectacle a ouvert le Festival Eternal Hope 2022 à Prague. Leur programme comprenait des œuvres de Pavel Haas - "Studies for Strings" et Ástor Piazzolla - Las Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas (Four Seasons in Buenos Aires) dont Verano Porteño (Summer - Allegro moderato), Otoño Porteño (Autumn - Allegro moderato), Winter Door (Hiver - Lent) et Primavera Porteña (Printemps - Allegro). Le programme du festival se poursuivra jusqu'au 3 avril et comprendra une variété de concerts, conférences, discussions et lectures littéraires. |

L'accordéoniste Javier López Jaso donnera un cours d'improvisation au Théâtre l'Escorxador à Lleida, Espagne le 12 mars 2022 organisé par l'ACDA (Associació Catalana d'Acordionistes). Les étudiants de l'ACDA apprendront et développeront différentes méthodes d'improvisation. Le cours se terminera par un concert de Javier López Jaso avec les étudiants inscrits au cours. Video: Kaiser/Butt New World Jazz Quartet live in Halle, Germany at the 2021 Global Accordion Music Festival Akkordeon Akut. The "Kaiser/Butt New World Jazz Quartet" includes accordionist Valentin Butt, who was also a member of the Landes Accordion Ensemble. After a two-year break, the Global Accordion Music Festival Akkordeon Akut returned to Halle's stages from October 10 to 21, 2021. We would like to thank all partners who made this small but sustainable festival edition possible. The next festival awaits you in the fall of 2023. |

The 2022 Accordion Star International Competition & Festival will be held online this year from April 15th to 24th, 2022. The competition is organised by founder and director, Sergei Teleshev and is supported by Northwest Accordion Society, Cotati Accordion Festival, Tempo Trend Music, Petosa Accordions, Pigini Accordions and other festivals and organizations in North America, Europe, and Asia. The event will include concerts, master classes, interviews and presentations by competition jurors and festival guests. Accordion students, amateurs and professional accordionists of all ages are welcome to participate. The international jury features leading performers, teachers, composers, conductors, and producers from USA, Canada, Russia, China, Italy, France, Germany, Ukraine, Albania, Sweden, Austria, Belarus, Cyprus, Iran, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Macedonia, Scotland, Serbia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, South Africa, and other countries. Viacheslav Semionov (Russia) is presiding as Jury President. Winners will be announced in 14 categories of varying genres, combos, age groups and instruments (piano, bayan, button, digital and accordion related e.g. bandoneon, concertina, melodica, Russian garmon etc). New competition categories include the “Astor Piazzolla Music Award,” and two categories “Accordion Star 37+” which have no age restrictions and are divided into amateurs and professionals. Trio Hiltula will entertain at a lunch time “Tango Live” concert at the Classic Salon Amadeus in Motomachi, Kobe, Japan on March 6th, 2022 at 2pm. The trio includes Ville Hiltula (bandoneon), Hanako Tanimoto (violin) and Satoko Tsutsumi (piano). The Accordion Association Musicorda will celebrate their 66th anniversary with their first concert since 2019, held at the Muziekcentrum van de Omroep, MCO, Studio1 in Hilversum, Netherlands on March 6th, 2022 at 1.30pm. The concert will include performances by the A-orchestra conducted by Tim Fletcher and the B-orchestra conducted by Roelof van Kooi. Both men “conduct with passion and enthusiasm, and always take the orchestras a step further.” The two orchestras (pictured below) will present a varied program with guest players Fata Morgana (harmonica), Ingrid Lubbers (violin) and Marjolein Ridder (bagpipes). Sofia Ros will perform the Aconcagua Concerto with the Friends of the Festival orchestra, in the finals of the Edinburgh Music Competition Festival on March 13th, 2022. She will compete with three other finalists playing piano, cello and violin. The event will be held at the Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh, Scotland. Five days later, on March 18th, Sofia will give a solo recital at the Purcell Room in London, England. |

Seven piece Celtic punk band “Flogging Molly” will perform a live (and online) concert to celebrate St Patrick’s Day at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, USA on March 17th, 2022, presented by Bushmills. The event also celebrates the grand re-opening of the group’s free annual outdoor festival, which includes “a day stacked with live performances, beer, food, games and more!” In addition, their performance will celebrate the release of their brand new single “These Times Have Got Me Drinking”, arriving worldwide on March 10th through Rise Records. “Flogging Molly” includes Matt Hensley (accordion, concertina, vocals) along with players of a variety of instruments such as guitar, bodhran, violin, tin whistle, bass guitar, mandolin, banjo, drums, percussion and vocalists. The 25th Blue Mountains Festival 2022 will be held in Katoomba, NSW, Australia from March 18th to 20th, 2022. The event will include three days of entertainment by over 35 soloists and bands. Video: "Firedance" by Duo Two Accordions Duo Two Accordions (Sergei Teleshev and Maria Telesheva) will give an online concert for the San Francisco Accordion Club on March 20th, 2022. Maria Telesheva was six years old when she started to play the accordion (taught by her father, Sergei Teleshev) and two months after Maria started playing, she won her first International Competition. Since then, she has won several International Competitions in the United States, Canada, Australia, Italy, and Belarus. Classically trained at the Academy of Music in Voronezh, Russia, Sergei Teleshev is a winner of many international accordion competitions. Being the founding member and accordion player of Trio Voronezh (Russia/USA), Classic Klezmer Trio (Sweden), Valinor Quartet (USA/UK), East-West International Project (USA/Japan), Sergei & Nati (USA/Russia) and Duo Two Accordions (USA), he collaborates with many internationally recognized artists, ensembles, and orchestras, composing and arranging music. It is a special treat to listen to the duo of Sergei Teleshev and Maria Telesheva. Their performances are entertaining, virtuosic, and delightful to watch. Hvorostovsky with a concert dedicated to the All-Russian Day of Bayan, Accordion and Harmonica held on March 24th, 2022 at 6.30pm. Students of the class of professors, Honored Artists of Russia S.F. Naiko and I.A. Gerber will perform along with laureates of interregional, all-Russian and international competitions and festivals. Jacques Mornet et Nathalie Boucheix feront une série de masterclasses CNIMA aux États-Unis , ce prochain printemps 2022. Cet enseignement est ouvert aux accordéonistes de tout âge, tout niveau, tout style qu’ils jouent de l’accordéon piano ou à boutons. Les dates sont les suivantes : • 25 mai de 14h à 17h : Masterclass d'accordéon à South Oxford Place (BK) à New York • Du 30 mai à 14h00 au 3 juin à 12h30 : Stage d'accordéon de quatre jours à l'Alliance Française de la Nouvelle-Orléans • 5 juin de 14h à 17h : Masterclass d'accordéon au Petosa Accordion Shop à Seattle • 9 juin à 19h : Démonstration d'accordéon à l'Alliance Française de Los Angeles Jacques Mornet a enseigné à travers le monde et est détenteur du prix Gus Viseur et le disque d'argent de l'Académie russe Gnessin. En 2003, il a reçu le prix du mérite de la CIA. La méthode Mornet consiste à aborder l'accordéon comme un instrument à vent plutôt qu'un instrument clavier. Une bonne gestion du soufflet combinée à un toucher crée des résultats exceptionnels qui transforment le jeu et libèrent la musicalité. Les étudiants du CNIMA ont le meilleur palmarès au monde avec 126 premier prix aux concours internationaux. L'école a formé les meilleurs accordéonistes français dont Alain Musichini, Domi Emorine, Félicien Brut, Vincent LHermet et Christine Rossi pour n'en nommer que quelques-uns.
