4 Helicopters Landing at Restaurant Osteria La Fisarmonica, 60022 Castelfidardo - Italyby Harley Jones |
Just yesterday, the local newspapers were reporting: CASTELFIDARDO: Many people saw four helicopters fly over Ancona yesterday. They were heading for... a restaurant. The customers of the restaurant "La Fisarmonica" (the Accordion) in Castelfidardo arrived in the four helicopters. They were French, arriving from Corsica. They had booked via app, asked and received the OK for the unusual landings: everything went well, textbook maneuvers. Gnocchi and schnitzels for all, then back in the air, destination Croatia. The recent Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) Congress and Coupe Mondiale in Bosnia Herzogovina was attended by Ruben Cittadini of the Castelfidardo Pro Loco who issued an invitation for the 2024 Coupe Mondiale to be held in the historic accordion city of Castelfidardo, Italy. The Congress accepted the invitation with applause. The dates are yet to be finalized but the dates of the 2024 Coupe Mondiale and the 2024 PIF-Castelfidardo events are expected to be very close together to encourage competitors, teachers, accordion enthusiasts and supporters to attend both events. I cannot imagine many accordionists arriving by helicopter but I can imagine many accordion lovers wishing to visit in 2024 the restaurant Osteria La Fisarmonica as well as other fine food restaurants nearby! See you there! |
