Organisers asked artists to show what memories of home mean to them. Tiina Kiik reimagines contemporary classical compositions for the accordion bringing unexpected textures to the instrument. Estonian accordionist and composer Tuulikki Bartosik is slated to record a special performance for the concert, a series of her original compositions. She will be performing from the ancient St Catherine's Monastery which is one of Tallinn's oldest buildings in Estonia, founded by Dominican monks back in 1 246. See poster for details. |
