‘Accordions International 2010’, Norfolk - UKby Rob Howard |
 ‘Accordions International 2010’, takes place at Seacroft Holiday Village, Hemsby, Norfolk, November 12th/15th. The guests at this annual festival include UK virtuoso Pearl Fawcett-Adriano (picture left), Gennaro Ruffolo (Italy), David Vernon and Dick Lee (Scotland), Gianni Mirizzi (Italy), All Scotland Champion Wayne Robertson, Giancarlo Caporilli (Italy), Harry Hussey, Peter Ayers, Bert Santilly, and Norvic Concordia. Workshops include Beginners Group – Jean Hanger, Elementary Orchestra – Rosemary Wright, Intermediate Orchestra – Brian Jenkins, Scottish Orchestra – Wayne Robertson, Jazz Group – Bert Santilly, Vintage Orchestra – Jean Hanger, Buskers Band – Bert Santilly. Wayne Robertson plays for Scottish dancing, and enthusiast Geoff Wilkinson will give a special talk/demo on the (Reuther) Uniform keyboard accordion. The trade show includes The Accordion Shop, Birmingham Accordion Centre, Manfrini Accordions, MAP Editions, TSAR, and ‘An A to Z of the Accordion’.
