“Black Pencil” Perform at Floriade Expo Closing Ceremony – Netherlandsby Christine Johnstone |

| “Black Pencil” (pictured below) will perform at the Floriade Expo 2022 Closing Ceremony in Leidschendam, Netherlands this month. The Expo is a world horticultural exhibition, which takes place in the Netherlands only once every 10 years. The group, which includes accordionist Marko Kassl, will perform the musical highlights from the opening show “Schoonschip” and also accompany excerpts from 'Rocky de Robot' by Ulrike Quade Company. Rocky wanders in a future landscape called Flevoland. Their program, “Come out, Caioni” presents secular songs, Hungarian and Romanian folk dances, Baroque pieces and ecclesiastical music. Concert details as follows: • October 23rd, 2022 at 3.30pm - Hippolytus Church in Hippolytushoef • October 27th, 2022 at 8.30pm - The Dorpskerk Church in Leidschendam.
