The 75th Coupe Mondiale will be held from 04 - 09 October 2022 in Zofingen, Switzerland, hosted by the CIA member accordeon.ch led by President: Yvonne Glur (President) and Switzerland CIA delegate Ruedi Marty. Concert "Three accordions. World hits" – Russiaby Ivan Dyma, SaxAkkord Duo |
 A concert entitled "Three accordions. World hits" will be held in the New Hall of the House of Music in Moscow, Russia on November 5th, 2022.Performers include Sergey Osokin (picture right), Nikolai Miroshnik and Alexei Sokolov. Their program includes classical, jazz and pop music by Saint-Saens, Galliano, Piazzolla, Ellington, Lay, Piaf, Brubeck, Weil, Feltsman and many others. Sergei Osokin, Nikolai Miroshnik and Alexei Sokolov will combine popular classical music, jazz, pop music and of course French Musette, loved by accordionists all over the world. The accordion has the ability to convey the entire palette of human emotions, both deep sadness and unbridled joy. Despite spreading all over the world, its sound is very often associated with Paris, Montmartre, the Champs Elysees. "Life in Pink" (the hallmark of Edith Piaf), popular melodies "A Man and A Woman" by F. Lai and "Under Paris Skies" by H. Giraud, "Tango for Claude" by R. Galliano will become the basis of the "French block" of the program. The Latin American part will be made up of famous tangos by A. Piazzolla and "Cumparsita" by H. Rodriguez, and original accordion versions of legendary jazz compositions, such as "Caravan" by H. Tizola and C Jam Blues by D. Ellington, will not leave anyone indifferent in the hall. As if competing in speed, the musicians will perform sparkling Bulgarian dances and the Greek "Sirtaki" by M. Theodorakis. Popular classics will be represented by such compositions as "Cuckoo" by J. Daken and "Swan" by C. Saint-Saens, and hits of the Soviet stage includes the songs "Unsuccessful Date" by A. Tsfasman and "A Song Goes Around in a Circle" by O. Feltsman. Sergey Osokin is a Russian accordionist who has received recognition in many countries of the world, a laureate of more than twenty international competitions. He combines academic art, jazz and musette in his work. He has completed tours in Russia, Europe, Asia, North America. Nikolai Miroshnik is a laureate of many competitions and festivals, a keyboardist and arranger, as well as one of the most sought-after accordionists in the pop-jazz genre, who knows the art of improvisation. Alexey Sokolov is a multiple winner of international competitions. He studied at the famous Berklee College of Music, performed in Russia, Europe, Israel, Canada and the USA and was a participant of jazz festivals in Poland, Scotland, France and Russia. |

 The 2022 International Meridian festival will be held in Bucharest, Romania from November 6th to 13th, 2022.On November 12th, Duo Aspera (picture left), which includes accordionist Ghenadie Rotari and Valentina Vargiu (piano) will perform the world premiere of Gabriele Vanoni's new work for accordion and piano and Victor Coltea's new work for accordion solo. The event will also include “Sounds to Go”, a project organized by the ISCM Romanian Section in order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the ISCM (International Society for Contemporary Music), which has members from around fifty countries, devoted to the promotion and presentation of the music of our time. | Video: Exceptional concert at PIF Castelfidardo of Didier Laloy, Fabrizio Meloni (clarinet) and the Calabria Philharmonic Orchestra. Full reports and competition results are available online at: 2022Castelfidardo Didier Laloy discovered the accordion from the age of 13 and from there he became recognized as one of the most active representatives of the renaissance of the diatonic accordion in Europe. Over the years he has defined his style through the “freedom of creation”, which consists in following his personal needs and, above all, in bringing his audience to places still unknown. He has collaborated with many talented artists both on the Belgian and international scene, also carrying out personal projects. On the clarinet Fabrizio Meloni, first solo clarinet of the Orchestra del Teatro and Filarmonica della Scala since 1984. Fabrizio has toured in the United States and Israel with the Italian Wind Quintet. With the Nuovo Quintetto Italiano he has actively toured in South America and South East Asia. His concert tour in Japan with P. Moll and I Solisti della Scala was met with enthusiastic acclaim from audiences and critics. He has numerous recordings to his credit. The Calabria Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Volodymyr Runchak have accompanied the two musicians. |

| Duo “Vilda” (pictured below) which includes accordionist Viivi Maria Saarenkylä and indigenous Samí singer Hildá Länsman (Finland) have been performing with the Finnish National Opera (Kansallisooppera) in Helsinki, Finland this month. The duo took part in the world premier of the show entitled “Earthborn”, on the main stage of the National Opera House which was choreographed by Fei Bo (from the National Ballet of China). This production is one of three World Wide Dance shows that will run through the month of October. |

The album celebrates 30 years with a duo song with Takumi Watanabe (guitar) who participated as a guest on Coba’s first album. Coba wrote and recorded all 14 tracks on the album. Tracks include: 01.
