 The first Skipton Accordion Festival, organised by John Romero, is set for March 25th to 28th (Easter weekend), at The Rendezvous Hotel, Skipton, North Yorkshire BD23 2TA. The guests include Gary Blair, Paul Chamberlain, Harry Hussey, Alan Young, John Romero, and Julie Best & Jean Corrighan. The activities include concerts, Accordion Orchestra Workshop (Rene Mairis), Accordion Orchestra Workshop (Julie Best), Balkan and Tango Workshop (Paul Chamberlain), Scottish Workshop (Gary Blair), Fun Busking Sessions, Ceilidh with Gary Blair, Late Night Jazz with Harry Hussey, and Party Time Pro Jam Session. The trade show includes The Accordion Shop, Birmingham Accordion Centre, Rob Howard’s Books, Harry Kipling's ‘Accordion Treasures’, and Carillon Music.
