 The Santa Maria Accordion Band recently performed at short notice in a public concert in the town of Zabbar, as part of ‘Zabbar Day 2011’.The band played several popular tunes to an audience that included some renowned cultural personalities, such as leading poets, artists, singers, politicians, mayors and councilors, and several personalities in the cultural circle. The event was broadcast on the Zabbar radio channel, and was presented by a leading Maltese TV and radio personality, Charles Abela Mizzi, during which he interviewed our band Director Marthese Busuttil Cassar about our unique accordion band in Malta.
