The 1st Interregional Festival & Competition of Performers on Folk instruments "Rassypukha" will take place at the Moscow State Budgetary Educational Institution “Children’s Music School named after F.I. Shalyapin" in Moscow, Russia on March 3rd, 2024. The event is aimed at students from children's music schools and children's art schools in Moscow, and other regions of Russia aged from 8 to 17 years. The festival competition provides an opportunity to identify and support talented young performers, as well as contribute to the development of the level of skill in performing folk instruments. The competition will be held in several categories, including solo instrumental performance on accordion. The chairman of the jury is Semyon Shmelkov, laureate of International competitions and associate professor of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music. Entries close on February 18th, 2024.
