 Portuguese accordionist João Frade has released a new CD, on which he is accompanied by guitarist and bass player Munir Hossn. The CD title is ‘Piriquitos e Botonetes’, and the music has many colors from Portuguese, Brazilian and African roots along with Jazz and World Music influences. It is mainly an instrumental CD but there are some vocal elements on several songs and the track features the Cape-Verdian star Mayra Andrade. The CD is now available on the internet at CD Baby.
