  The 65th CMA Trophée Mondial is to be hosted in Martigny, Switzerland from the 20th to 25th October 2015, by one of the CMA Delegates for Switzerland, Yves Moulin (picture lower left). CMA President Frédéric Deschamps (picture left) states “we are delighted to be visiting Switzerland for the first time since 1984 and to have the town of Martigny, as the venue for our Trophée Mondial 2015.” The Trophée Mondial which in recent years has attracted contestants from more than 20 countries throughout the world will as well as including the historical categories traditional to the CMA – Senior and Junior Classique, National Trophee (Masters), Senior and Junior Variéte and World Music will also feature in parallel four National Trophee Junior categories for the 10 & under, 12 & under, 15 & under and 17 & under – aimed at giving experience and motivation to the younger generation of accordionists and teachers, who themselves are hopefully the future generation competitors in the major categories – with excellent prize money.
