| Duo Vilda (Finland) will perform at the Kultrún World Music Festival, held at Waterloo Park in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada from July 12th to 14th, 2024. This festival is a “free, family-friendly event that attracts both visitors and residents alike. The purpose of the festival is to bring together top talent from around the world to help celebrate diversity.” The Duo “Vilda” which includes accordionist Viivi Maria Saarenkylä and indigenous Samí singer Hildá Länsman (Finland) will perform on July 13th, with a program of original music, composed and written by themselves, influenced by the northern nature, traditional Samí joik and Finnish folk, and pop music! |
