| On Saturday May 6th, 7pm until 10.30pm, accordionist Freeland Barbour and The Occasionals play for a ceilidh at Inverleith St Serf’s Parish Church, 1A Clark Rd, Edinburgh EH5 3BD. The Occasionals, founded in 1986, are one of Scotland’s best-known ceilidh bands, led by Freeland Barbour, a prolific composer and recording artist. The leading folk music magazine Folk Roots commented - "If you want straight down the line dance music you can't do much better than The Occasionals". |
