Marathon organisers showcase local musicians at various historical landmarks along the marathon route, and so accordionist Juha Silfverberg was hired to entertain by the Kansas City Market, while runners passed by. The Rib Run got its name as a tribute to the famous Kansas City 'Bar-B-Q' that was served after the run to all the participants. |
