 The Northwest Accordion Society presents their annual Day of the Accordion, February 28th, from 11am to 5pm at Center House, Seattle Center, 305 Harrison St, Seattle, Washington. In addition to nonstop accordion music and dancing, there will be workshops, seminars, and free lessons. Performances by beginners and professionals alike. Artistes performing include Murl Allen Sanders, Ken Olendorf, Sasson Klezmer Band, Northwest Accordionaires, Happy Wanderers Band, Bonnie Birch Band, Folkvoice Band, and the Smilin’ Scandinavians. Workshops include ‘Caring for your accordion’’, by Jim Tobler, and ‘Introduction to Balkan music and songwriting’, by Marchette DuBois. For further information email: bonniebirch@msn.com |
