| Record du monde Guinness atteint lors du festival d'art de l'accordéon Xin Jiang Ta Cheng 2023. Vidéo ci-dessus des 2525 accordéonistes en direct, plus 2003 vérifiés en ligne pour un total de 4528 accordéonistes. Le rapport complet de cet énorme événement à Ta Cheng, en Chine, est disponible en ligne à l'adresse suivante : 2023Tacheng Il y a probablement plus d'accordéonistes par habitant à Tacheng que dans n'importe quelle autre ville du monde. Tacheng se trouve dans la région autonome ouïgoure du Xinjiang, en Chine, et il faut plus de 5 heures de vol depuis Hong Kong, Shanghai ou Pékin pour s'y rendre, à proximité de la frontière du Kazakhstan. À titre de comparaison, le trajet Londres-Moscou dure 3 heures et 40 minutes. Le China Daily Times (édition anglaise) a écrit : "Surnommée la "ville de l'accordéon", Tacheng possède une histoire et un héritage riches en matière d'accordéon. L'accordéon est en quelque sorte le symbole de la ville, et sur dix personnes, il y en a deux ou trois qui savent jouer de l'accordéon. |

  The closing date for entries is September 3rd, for the PIF 2023, 48th International Accordion Prize "Città di Castelfidardo" held in Castelfidardo from September 13th to 17th, 2023.Artistic Director of the festival and competitions is Antonio Spaccarotella (picture above right). The competition, which "attracts hundreds of bellows instrument talents from all over the world… will feature a program of large-scale events, including unpublished projects, first performances, concerts rich in artistic influences entrusted to big names and rising stars of the international music scene, moments of encounter between music and original theatre, teaching and research projects and many other novelties".  The XXX “Arrasate Hiria” International Accordion Competition will take place in Arrasate-Mondragón, Basque Country, Spain, between December 8th and 10th, 2023. The competition is open to soloists of any age and nationality and is organised by “HAUSPOZ” Euskal Herriko Akordeoi Elkartea, the Town Hall of Arrasate and The County Council of Gipuzkoa. The winner of the 2023 competition will be invited by the organizers to give a series of concerts at the XXXI “Arrasate Hiria” International Accordion Competition in 2024.  Vidéo : Première mondiale à Chicago.Une première mondiale très réussie de "Meditato" composée par Gorka Hermosa a été interprétée par Grayson Masefield au Festival international (ATG) de la Guilde des accordéonistes et des enseignants 2023 à Chicago. Reportage photo sur : http://www.accordions.com/atg/2023report.php « Meditato » (2023) est une méditation sur l'irrationalité de la barbarie humaine qui a été commandée par l'ATG grâce à la présidente de l'ATG, Mary Ann Covone et Harley Jones. Lorsqu'il a été contacté pour la commande, Gorka Hermosa a proposé une pièce mélodique, car la plupart des œuvres commandées qu'il reçoit sont des pièces virtuoses. Il pensait qu'il était plus profond d'aller dans la direction opposée avec une œuvre mélodique. Gorka écrit : « Meditato tente d'exprimer la désolation de mon âme face à des actes barbares comme je l'ai montré précédemment dans Gernika (1994) et dans Fragilissimo (2000), en montrant que tout dépend du point de vue et de notre incapacité à comprendre le point de vue des gens qui pensent le contraire de nous. Pour composer "Meditato", j'ai écouté les principales pièces mélodiques écrites pour accordéon (Romance d'Angelis, Kalina Krasnaya de Semionov...), la musique d'Albeniz, Satie, Debussy... et finalement j'ai trouvé l'inspiration en écoutant Rachmaninov (pour l'introduction de la pièce) et Villalobos (Bachiana Brasileira nº5) pour le reste de la pièce, en partant de l'improvisation sur son harmonie, pour écrire ce que j'ai finalement composé en cette pièce." Grayson Masefield a interprété la première chinoise de "Meditato" lors d'un concert à Chengdu la semaine dernière, devant plus de 9 000 spectateurs supplémentaires sur Internet. "Meditato" a reçu un accueil enthousiaste du public aux États-Unis et en Chine, où l'œuvre a également été jouée en concert à Tacheng la semaine dernière. | The Bavarian State Youth Accordion Orchestra (Landesjugend-Akkordeonorchester Bayern - LJAO) will begin their concert tour of the UK, Belgium and Germany on August 31st through to September 10th, 2023. This Orchestra is one of the German selection accordion orchestras of the “Deutsche Harmonika-Verband” (DHV) that offers young people from Bavaria the opportunity to deal with new accordion literature and sophisticated arrangements. The conductor changes every year, so that the young musicians can gain experience with different musical interpretations. The 2023 Musical Director and Conductor is Stefan Hippe. The tour will begin in London, England with a community concert entitled "Bellows Across Borders" with the London Accordion Orchestra on September 3rd, 2023 at St Gabriel's Church in Pimlico. Further concerts in their tour schedule: • September 6th: Mons (Belgium) - Auditorium Halbreich - Conservatoire Royal du Mons • September 8th: Oelde (Germany) - St. Joseph's Church • September 9th: Cologne (Germany) - Trinity Church Their programme includes music by Piazzolla, Márquez, Elgar, Händel and Tchaikovsky, as well as original works for accordion orchestra. | NOVAM (Nederlandse Organisatie Voor Accordeon en Mondharmonica) & ArtEZ will hold a series of Improvisation Workshops at the ArtEZ Conservatory in Arnhem, Gelderland, Netherlands with tutor Rik Cornelissen. The first in the series will be held on October 7th, 2023 from 11am to 3pm. The workshops will cover “topics such as improvisation, memorization, hearing, rhythm, groove, chords, accompaniment, solos, articulation, ... for different musical styles such as tango, Latin and jazz." | Melrose Quartet will hold their “Make the World Anew” Album Launch event with a live concert at St Andrew’s Church, Psalter Lane, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England on September 23rd, 2023. The concert “will also be streamed live to the world on Live to Your Living Room, making this an incredibly exciting global event.” The album will feature “powerful, uplifting songs alongside beautiful instrumentals showcasing the band’s deep roots in traditional dance music.” The quartet members: Richard Arrowsmith (melodeons & vocals), Jess Arrowsmith (violin & vocals), James Fagan (vocals, bouzouki & guitar) and Nancy Kerr (vocals & violin). |

 L'usine d'accordéons de Scandalli est le sponsor du projet d'archives vidéo et d'éducation, 2023 Coupe Mondiale, 5-9 Septembre, Bosnie et Herzégovine.Le "Video Archive Education Project" est un projet initié en 2010 par la Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) avec l'aide de sponsors et d'Accordions Worldwide. Les vidéos doivent être en ligne environ 1 heure après la performance en direct ou la compétition en direct et les téléspectateurs auront des téléchargements gratuits des compétitions de la Coupe Mondiale jouant une vaste gamme de différents types et styles de musique.
