| The Syros Accordion Festival has been taking place from Monday August 20th to Saturday 25th at Saint Paul Mansion, Syros, Greece. The event includes concerts, seminars, a maintenance-repairs workshop, and an exhibition of music, accessories, and instruments. The guest performers this year include Zonaradiko, Babo Koro, GlendOtur, and Encardia. This year’s festival explores two music genres that are distinct but have a common rhythm, ‘Zonaradiko’ and ‘Tarantella’, the first originating from Thrace, Northern Greece, and the second from Southern Italy.
