‘Double Jeu’ Duo, Reims – Franceby Harley Jones |
 The duo ‘Double Jeu’ (‘Double Jeopardy’) was formed following a meeting between accordionists Pierre Laval, aged 20, originally from Betheny, near Reims, and Felician Brut, 22, a native of Saint Sauves Auvergne in the Puy de Dome.Pierre achieved third place in both the CMA Tropheé Mondiale and the Junior Virtuoso Entertainment Category of the CIA Coupe Mondiale in 2007. In the same year Felician won in succession the international competitions at Kilngenthal (Germany), Castelfidardo (Italy), and the CMA Tropheé Mondiale. It was then that they decided to perform together as a duo. Pierre currently teaches the accordion in the region of Rheims, and Felician also fronts a trio. ‘Double Jeu’ will be performing in Moscow, Russia, from November 4th to 8th.
