2010 "Musikmesse, Francfort - Allemagneby Holda Paoletti-Kampl |
 Le salon international pour les instruments de musique, partitions, la production musicale et les connexions de business de la musique a lieu à Frankfurt am Main, à partir de Mars 24 au 27. La foire ouvre pendant quatre jours: Heures d'ouverture: 9h until 18h commerce jours visiteur: Mercredi Mars 24 au vendredi 26, Public Day: Samedi Mars 27. Cette année, tous les produits liés accordéon seront exposées dans le Hall 3.1 du parc des expositions. Il s'agit d'une excellente occasion de discuter avec les fabricants et leurs manifestants.  Beniamino Bugiolacchi, de Castelfidardo, Ancône, a écrit une chronologie très détaillée de la production d'accordéon en Italie. Cette chronologie débute en 1850 et se poursuivront jusqu'en 2009. Chronology of Italian AccordionsCela a nécessité des recherches considérables et aidera à répondre à beaucoup des questions que les lecteurs ont souvent de différents constructeurs et marques d'accordéons qui ont été fabriqués en Italie. Beniamino Bugiolacchi, l'auteur de nombreuses publications et articles sur l'accordéon, l'accordéon est un historien de renom et directeur-fondateur (en 1981), du "Musée international de la Fisarmonica 'à Castelfidardo, dont il est encore un directeur. Il est aussi un porte-parole de l'industrie, le propriétaire et gérant de Italcinte, une sangle d'instrument de musique et fabricant d'accessoires, et l'ancien directeur artistique du Premio Internazionale di Fisarmonica, Città di Castelfidardo, la concurrence internationale et le festival d'accordéon.  Dans les années 1950 le détaillant accordéon Arthur Bell, de Surbiton, Surrey, a publié de nombreux enregistrements par les plus grands accordéonistes britannique de l'époque. La plupart de ces 78 tours sur les dossiers, et j'ai longtemps été indisponible. Manchester accordéoniste Tommy Scruton a été restaurés numériquement certains de la vieille cloche 78s sur CD pour la première fois, permettant à ces enregistrements classiques d'être entendu dans toute leur splendeur originale. Les joueurs figurant sur le prix modeste 'Bell 78s Compilation sont Percy Holland, Albert Delroy, Ivor Beynon, Gerald Young, et Montanari, et ce sont également les seuls enregistrements disponibles actuellement par aucun de ces accordéonistes en suspens. Les pistes sont: «Trieste Overture» et «Cubanera '- Percy Hollande,' Rhapsody in Musette ',' Donkey Ride ',' Reveil Musette», et «Cuban Bellringer" - Albert Delroy; 'On the Sunny Side of the Street' et «Holiday for Strings '- Ivor Beynon;' Adagio Cantabile» ( «Pathétique» de Beethoven) et «Valse du Diable» - Gerald Young; 'Concert Waltz ", parties 1 et 2 - Montanari. | The Jon Hammond Band accueillera à nouveau le annuels Musikmesse Warm Up Party, mardi Mars le 23, dans la Frankfurt Jazzkeller, Kleine Bockenheimerstr. 18A / 60323 Frankfurt am Main / Tél. 069 28 85 37 Cet événement a lieu chaque année à la veille de la foire commerciale Musikmesse et ce sera la 24e année consécutive Jon Hammond joue ici et à la Musikmesse. Après avoir réintégré le groupe cette année sera la star sax ténor hongrois Tony Lakatos de Budapest. Aussi rejoignant seront Giovanni Gulino (batterie) et Joe Berger alias «Le Berger-Meister» (guitare) amis de partout dans le rassemblement mondial dans l'atmosphère particulière de Jazzkeller Francfort, le plus ancien club de jazz en Allemagne, en une année des centaines anciens »Keller 'ci-dessous le sol près de l'Alte Oper dans le centre de Francfort.  Viljo ‘Vili’ Vesterinen (1907-61) was a Finnish accordionist and composer. In 1939 he recorded the ‘Säkkijärven Polkka’, which became the most popular version of this well-known tune. In the summer of 1941, for the third time in two years, Finland found itself at war with the USSR, this time fighting on the German side in World War Two. The Finnish army was puzzled why bridges they had captured would blow up a few days later, and found that the reason was the Soviets had installed time bombs, operated by a radio fuse. ‘Yleisradio’ - the National Broadcasting Co - discovered that a signal transmitted on a certain wavelength would cause the tuning forks attached to the trigger to vibrate, activating a fuse relay mechanism. To prevent this happening, the Finns started to transmit Vili Vesterinen´s recording of the ‘Säkkijärven Polkka’ relentlessly on the radio, day and night, at that particular frequency. The tune was broadcast for the next nine months, from the beginning of September until the end of spring 1942, by which time the Finnish army estimated that the batteries of the mines had gone flat. The ‘Säkkijärven Polkka’ is arguably the most played and recorded of Finnish folk dance tunes, and is still frequently performed in concerts and accordion contests across Scandinavia. Vili Vesterinen's life was told in the 1955 movie ‘Säkkijärven Polkka’, starring the actor Sakari Jurkka in the role of the accordionist. Vesterinen appeared in the film as himself in a cameo role.  Le Mois dernier, Frédéric Deschamps et son équipe de champions du Monde internationale Grayson Masefield (Nouvelle Zélande), Petar Maric (serbie) et Alexandar Kolovski (Macédoine) étaient les invités de Christine Rossi de Monaco. Cette dernière, titulaire d'un poste à l'école de Roquebrune Cap-Martin était la première française à remporter le concours international d e Klingenthal en 1990. Elle avait également remporté la Coupe Mondiale et le Trophée Mondial les années précédentes. Frédéric Deschamps, également vainqueur de ces 3 concours en 1992, animait une Master Classe , pendant laquelle il proposait aux élèves de l'école d'accordéon, de découvrir les dernières innovations en matière de technique pédagogique. Le lendemain, les 3 jeunes concertistes internationaux médusaient un public venu nombreux pour l'occasion à travers leur interprétations spectaculaires des derniers tubes du répertoire de variété et du répertoire « basses chromatiques ». C'étaient la première fois que les deux Accordéonistes classiques français les plus titrés ( Christine et Frédéric) collaboraient pédagogiquement mais loin d'être la dernière puisque deux autre rendez-vous sont déjà fixés pour le moi d'avril et de juin prochain. |

 Roger ‘Andy’ Anderson, one of Britain’s most underrated accordionists died from cancer on March 7th at the age of 73. He also played the piano, and had a great natural flair and facility with keyboard instruments.Best known as an employee of John Leslie’s ‘Accordions of London’ and seen on the trade stands at accordion festivals for many years, Andy was also a brilliant accordionist and composer, whose talent was understated. Musically he owed much to the style of Django Reinhardt, yet had an originality that was admired by many. Andy played occasionally as the guest at accordion clubs, but was disinclined to pursue a career as a performer. Andy Anderson was a quiet, unassuming man, with a deeply held religious faith. He was well liked by all who knew him. Andy Anderson's funeral will take place on Tuesday 23rd March 2010 at 10.15 am at :- St Faith Crematorium, 75 Manor Road, Norwich, Norfolk NR10 3LF. The Celebrity Interviews web site features this week the French translation of the Celebrity Interview with Raphael Lavoie who is the show’s keyboardist and accordionist using the Roland FR-3 V-accordion for his shows in addition to the Fantom-G8 Workstation keyboard. |

 Finnish accordionist Kimmo Pohjonen (born 1964) has a folk dance music background, but is a visionary musician who seeks to expand the capabilities, sound, scope, performance and experience of the accordion to levels never before attempted, seen or heard. In his performances, accordion, voice, effects, surround sound and light show combine to make a unique and captivating performance event.Pohjonen studied at the Sibelius Academy Folk Music Department, becoming an experimental and versatile musician, whose stage shows involve unusual sounds and visual effects.   Lars Karlsson, proprietor of Karlsson’s Music, Äskebacka, has arranged ‘Välgörenhetskonsert’, a concert to celebrate his shop’s 40 years in business.The concert on March 20th, 4pm until 7pm, takes place at the Kungsbacka Theatre, Kungsbacka, near Gothenburg, featuring accordionists from Sweden, Norway and Denmark, including the Lars Karlsson Band, Lars Holm, Bengan Janson, Jörgen Sundeqvist, Oivind Farmen, Sigmund Delhi, Annika Andersson, David Wahlen, and Soren Brix. This year, Frédéric Deschamps will present performers from his team at many different international competitions. The team includes: Grayson Masefield (New Zealand), Petar Maric (Serbia), Alexander Kolovski (Macedonia), and Dorin Grama & Radu Laxgang (Moldovia), João Barradas (Portugal), Pietro Adragna (Italy), Christelle Sautaux (Switzerland), and for France, Benoit Nortier and Aurora Touchard. All these artistes come regularly take courses in France and also take regular courses via the Internet with Frédéric Deschamps (video conference on Skype), which avoids a large number of trips for these young artists and is a real time and cost saver. For 2010, there is a great series of international competitions: 1. The contest Montrond les Bains in the heart of France, March 25th to 26th 2. The International Alcobaçao (Portugal), organized by Anibal Freire, April 16th to 18th 3. Kozani (Greece), organized by Alexander Tchuev, April 16th to 18th 4.  Steve Meisner, son of the bandleader Verne Meisner, has made a name for himself as an accordionist and composer and. Over the years, Meisner has performed with many of America’s leading top accordionists, including Myron Floren, Frank Yankovic, and Joey Miskulin, and averages nearly 200 performances annually.  On Thursday18th March Kevin Friedrich performed a one hour concert at the Mangawhai Club to over a hundred enthusiastic seaside residents. Kevin Friedrich performed a variety program including marches, accordion novelties, show pieces, ragtime, and light classics for the Kaipara District Council hosted concert which was attended by the Kaipara Mayor and Mayoress Neil and Catherine Tiller. Kevin also included used instruments from the Accordion Gems exhibition at the Dargaville Museum, demonstrating two of the accordions from collection. Kevin raised quite a laugh when he pulled out the 45 year old “Tiger” model accordion as the concert venue is at the golf course. See picture. After the concert, morning tea was served & many people took the opportunity to personally thank Kevin before the Mayor hosted Kevin to lunch. |
