Italcinte - director Beniamino Bugiolacchi, manufacturer straps and accessories for the accordion and other musical instruments

Beniamino Bugiolacchi was born in Castelfidardo, Italy in 1944 and lives there today. He is an entrepreneur in the field musical instruments and the owner and manager of ITALCINTE, musical instrument strap and accessory manufacturer.

Since 1963 he has collaborated with agencies and institutions in order to introduce to the musical

world the production of the musical instruments of this, particularly the accordion. Currently he is National President of the Constructors.

In his work promoting accordion manufacture in Italy, he has participated in many international events including Oslo 1989, Tokyo 1991, Frankfurt Musik Messe most years, Los Angeles 1993.

In 1975 he was instrumental in the birth of the Premio Internazionale di Fisarmonica, Città di Castelfidardo accordion competition and festival. He was Artistic Director of this event from the 1987 (when it became an international event) to 1992.

He was the City Council member of Culture for Castelfidardo from 1981 to 1985, and organized in Rome in 1983, a national convention to introduce the study of the accordion in the Italian Conservatories. In 1984 a temporary chair at the Conservatory "G. Rossini" of Pesaro became permenant.

Another important contribution by Beniamino Bugiolacchi was the founding in 1981 of the "International Museum of the Fisarmonica" (accordion) in Castelfidardo of which he is still a Director. This museum is visited by many thousands of accordion enthusiasts each year and is one of the most important museums for accordion in the world.
