| On Sunday August 28th, 7.30pm, the quartet CT Tango Ensemble perform in a concert in the ‘Jazz at the Nassau’ series at the Nassau Centre Groote Schuur High School, Palmyra Road, Newlands, South Africa. Also appearing will be the jazz quartet Babu. The CT Tango Ensemble perform music by A. Piazzolla, C. Lazar, S. Angelov, and others. Their line-up is Stanislav Angelov - bandoneon and accordion, Willie van Zyl - saxophones and clarinet, Albert Combrink – piano, and Charles Lazar - double bass. CT Tango Ensemble and Kesivan Naidoo, from Babu, shared the sound track of the South African-made film ‘Visa Vie’, released in March 2011. For further information email: music@goodmusic.co.za |
