| “Saso Avsenik & his Oberkrainer” will perform at the Radgonska Noc 2023 festival at Trg svobode in Gornja Radgona, Slovenia on August 26th, 2023. Sašo's grandfather and uncle, brothers Slavko and Vilko Avsenik invented the legendary style of Oberkrainer music in 1953. The ensemble, which features Sašo Avsenik (accordion), Aleš Jurman (bass), Matic Plevel (guitar), Denis Daneu (trumpet), Tommy Budin (clarinet), and singers Luka Sešek and Lucija Selak, perform a variety of Slovenian folk music.
