 Accordionists will perform at a Tribute Concert for Norwegian accordionist & saxophonist, Asmund Bjørken (19 August 1933 – 29 January 2018) at the Norwegian Radio and Television Museum (Norsk Radio-og Fjernsynsmuseum) in Selbu, Norway, on August 20th, 2023 from 4pm.Asmund (picture right) specialised in jazz and folk music. The event will mark his 90th birthday and feature 34 musicians on stage. Performers include P.A. Røstad Orchestra (picture below), Sigmund Sæther, Stian Carstensen and Tore Johansen. Viggo Valle is the presenter. |
