  Le XXXIVe Festival international "Bayan et Bayanistes" se déroule à la salle de concert de l'Académie russe de musique Gnesin (RAM) à Moscou, en Russie, du 14 au 18 décembre 2022. | Le 38e Concours d'accordéon VAMÖ 2023 se tiendra à Yamaha Music Europe Gmbh à Vienne, en Autriche, les 25 et 26 février 2023. Heinz Ebenstein, directeur du département accordéon a annoncé que les catégories 1A, 1B et 1C auront lieu le 25 février 2023, et les catégories 2 et 3 auront lieu le 26 février 2023. | The 2023 Toppershoedje Orchestra Weekend will take place at the Bungalow Park Toppershoedje (picture below) in Ouddorp, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands from February 3rd to 5th, 2023. The event is organised by NOVAM (Nederlandse Organisatie Voor Accordeon en Mondharmonica). Accordionists Ronald van Overbruggen and Niek van Uden will conduct the orchestra. They have a varied repertoire planned for the participants. A final concert and presentation will be held on Sunday afternoon, February 5th, 2023. Registrations are open until January 9th, 2023. | La convention de la National Accordion Association (NAA) se tiendra du 15 au 19 mars 2023 à l'hôtel Hilton à Richardson auTexas aux USA. La convention présentera des versions 2023 de la musique américaine commercialisables en tant que musique d'aujourd'hui. Cela sera une combinaison de musique américaine contemporaine créée par des immigrants américains qui mêmé leurs valeurs et traditions musicales au genre américain. Un mélange de styles musicaux qui incluent, entre autres, des airs populaires, de la musique folklorique, de la musique country et western (C&W), des ballades à texte, du rock and roll, des polkas et des valses, de la musique européenne, du gospel et du jazz.  The Lighthouse Function Center in Dargaville, New Zealand was filled to capacity for the 17th Afternoon of Music with Kevin Friedrich and Friends, a Variety Show featuring accordionists and entertainers from different parts of New Zealand. Report at: 2022DargavilleAccordionist Kevin Friedrich hosted his popular fundraising concert called ‘Christmas Joy’, on December 4th, 2022 at 1:00 PM. Presented by The Dargaville Museum, the 17th Afternoon of Music with Kevin Friedrich and Friends featured a variety of traditional and lighter themed Holiday music. Guest artists included the North Shore Accordion Orchestra, Anna Collins, Paul Jonson, Lionel Reekie, Jone Yelcich, Take 6, Linda Emmett Litt, Thomas Koloi, Rivertown Singers, Roslyn Gilmour, Alanah Jones, Maurice Jones, The Kaipara Ensemble, Sonja Whitehouse, Ian Bartlett and Jean Reid. The popular annual Holiday Show Concerts, which have been added to the annual regular season concerts, are a wonderful event for all ages, bringing the community and guests together for an afternoon of music and friendship. All proceeds are donated to the Dargaville Museum in support of their efforts to showcase the history of the community for future generations to enjoy. The Dargaville Museum hosts the only public accordion exhibition in the Southern Hemisphere “Accordion Gems, A Master Collection of Accordions Through Time”.
