| 为感谢对 Free State of Saxony 和它的人民的杰出贡献，Free State of Saxony的Award of Merit于1997年10月27日首次颁发. 该奖项可颁发给当地居民或外国人，感谢他们在政治、社交、文化、经济和环境等领域为当地作出的贡献. 颁发奖章数不能超过500枚，迄今已有209人获得这一颇有声望的奖项. 2010年8月19日因其长期组织享有很高声誉的 Klingenthal 国际手风琴比赛，Manfred Gaebler 获得了Saxon Order of Merit Gabler. 在德累斯顿Saxon State Chancellery 举办的仪式上, Manfred Gaebler (中心) 被授予这一荣誉, 在场的还有 Enrico Bräunig (Klingenthal) 市长(右) 和前任 Reiner Schneidenbach (左), 颁奖者是总理Stanislaw Tillich. |
