 Rosemary Wright performs at Stockport Accordion Club on Wednesday May 19th, 8pm. Rosemary, who last played for at Stockport AC in 2005, is one of Britain’s finest and most accomplished accordionists. She was Principal of the British College of Accordionists, Leader of the BCA Orchestra, an All Britain Junior Champion (the first competitor to win using a free bass accordion), composes and arranges music, and teaches the accordion and several other instruments. The Stockport AC Band (MD Derek Stubbs) will do a short supporting spot, which will include ‘150 Squadron' (Clifford Wood), 'Waltz for Eva' (John Jones), and 'La Morenita' (Matyas Seiber).
