 The 47th International Accordion Competition Klingenthal was held from May 7th to 13th 2010. This international competition has expanded to include Bandoneon Solo & Groups categories. Bandoneon groups are for up to six musicians, including at least one but not more than two bandoneons. The solo accordion competitions are divided into ‘Concert’ (classical) and ‘Entertainment’ categories with the top concert class having a ‘Concerto’ section for finalists to perform with a full symphony orchestra.
