 The Kramfors Music Awards is the Oscars of the "High Coast" region of Sweden and every second year, they present special prizes and awards for musicians, artists, composers, groups, who have put this region of Sweden on the national and international music map.Jörgen Sundeqvist received the Classical Artist of the Year Award recognizing the excellence of his performance and its contribution to the great success of Fredrik Högberg´s "The Accordion King", a multi media Concerto for Accordion and Orchestra. Jörgen Sundeqvist performed the World Premiere of the "The Accordion King", 22nd and 23rd January 2015, the review of the concert saying: "It was an unforgettable musical evening for the audience at Kramfors People's Park. Fredrik Högberg and Jorgen Sundeqvist, backed by the Nordic Chamber Orchestra, brings together in a masterly way the past with the present, and points forward to the future."
