 Latvian accordionist Ksenija Sidorova is currently on a concert tour of Israel, and the details include: March 14th, 8.30pm - with Vissi d’arte String Quartet, Rappaort Hall, Haifa March 16th, 8.30pm – with violinist Boris Brovsyn, JS Bach – ‘Sonata in G major’, Schnittke – ‘Suite in the Olden Style’, Bartok – ‘Romanian Folk Dances’, De Falla – ‘Canciones Populares’, Piazolla – ‘Histoire du Tango’, Museum Gallery, Tel Aviv March 17th, 8.30pm - with Vissi d’arte String Quartet, Recanati Hall, Tel Aviv March 19th, 8.30pm – with Israel Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra (conductor Salim Abboud Ashkar), JS Bach – ‘Harpsichord Concerto in D minor’, Piazolla – ‘Oblivion’ and ‘Libertango’, Mendelssohn – ‘Symphony No 3 in A minor’, Netanya March 21st, 8.30pm – with Israel Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra (programme as above), Givat Brenar March 23rd, 8.30pm – with Israel Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra, Ashkelon March 24th, 8.30pm – with Israel Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra, Kfar Saba March 26th, 8.30pm – with Israel Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra, Ein Hashofet March 28th, 8.30pm – with Israel Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra, Recanati Hall, Tel Aviv Ksenija Sidorova, a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London, has pursued a busy and very successful international concert and recital career. She has won numerous awards and accolades for her performances, and is also the winner of several international competitions. Ksenija is a keen promoter of the accordion and she has done outreach work at primary schools across the UK with the support of the Worshipful Company of Musicians.
