Prior to this, Emily was a member of the Scottish accordion band KODA. In 2003 Emily graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama with an Honours degree in Scottish Music. During this time she developed her skills on piano and accordion and established her own singing style, and has since toured Europe and Australasia.
