| On Thursday March 18th, 8pm, at Hall One, Kings Place, King’s Cross, London, and Gianni Coscia – accordion, and Gianluigi Trovesi – clarinet, perform in concert as part of Jazz Scene Europe week. This is a rare London appearance by a duo whose ravishing and beguiling music travels through jazz, north Italian folk music, film and theatre music, tinged with hints of mazurka, tango and klezmer, and an irresistibly Mediterranean warmth and wit. Gianni Coscia and Gianluigi Trovesi can be heard on the soundtracks to ‘Cinema Paradiso’ and ‘Il Postino’. |
