 The Dargaville Museum is proud to present 'Making Spirits Bright' Christmas afternoon of music with accordionist Kevin Friedrich and Friends. The concert will be held on December 3rd, 2023 at 1:00 PM.This popular event brings together the community to share an afternoon of music and friendship with a variety show of local and guest artists. The Dargaville Museum houses ‘Accordion Gems, A Master Collection of Accordions through Time’ curated by Kevin Friedrich. The collection features a magnificent array of accordions spanning it’s almost 200 year history. Select instruments from the collection are used in the concert presentations. Concert organizer Margaret Tier says that: "In addition to Kevin Friedrich will be accordionists Lionel Reekie, The North Shore Accordion Orchestra, Alanah Jones & Maurice Jones, with an array of popular performers from the Dargaville region."
