 Arseniy Strokovskiy (picture left) will perform in the world premiere/commissioned work of a new opera by Torstein Aagaard-Nilsen entitled Gespenster (Ghosts).The performance will take place at the Staatstheater Meiningen (picture above) in Meiningen, Thuringia, Germany on May 15th, 2024 at 7.30pm. A second performance will be held at the same venue on June 13th, 2024 at 7.30pm. In Meiningen in 1886, George II performed Henrik Ibsen's "Ghosts" for the first time in public in the German-speaking world with great success. In 2016 Torstein Aagaard-Nilsen was commissioned to write his first music theatre – an opera based on Ibsen's "Ghosts". For details email: arseniy@strokovskiy.com |
