This unbelievable fact will be celebrated on 17th November 2017 with a great event at the same venue we have performed for the last 30 years, Burg zu Perchtoldsdorf (Castle of Perchtoldsdorf), near Vienna. To promote this event, the VACE has updated its website with new pictures and videos. Website in English: Viennese Accordion Ensemble Website in German: Das Wiener Akkordeon-Kammer-Ensemble Founded in 1967 by Prof. Walter Maurer, 1975-2006 Secretary General of the CIA, the website outlines 50 years of music making to many parts of the world and the CD's and videos released. Three members are from the original ensemble. Director Werner Weibert (picture left), Sylvia and Günther Zobek. Other performances with our accordion friends in Vienna, Graz, Bavaria a.s.o. are planned during 2017 to celebrate this 50 years of music making.
