International Accordion Convention, Las Vegas – USAby Rob Howard |

 The 10th Las Vegas International Accordion Convention takes place from October 19th to 23rd at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino, 4000 West Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, Nevada. Artists appearing this year include Art Van Damme, Dick Contino, Gina Brannelli, Pete Barbutti, Peter Soave and Mady Soave, Pete Contino, Stas Venglevski, Silvia Marie, Mario Tacca and Mary Mancini, and Michael Bridge. The Las Vegas International Accordion Orchestra will rehearse and perform, directed by Joan Cochran Sommers. The festival includes teaching workshops, led by Ron Borelli, Gordon Kohl, Mary Tokarski, and others. There will also be a trade exhibition area.
