 The annual ‘Days of Macedonian Music 2010’, organized by the Association of Composers of Macedonia – SOCOM, under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Macedonia and the Ministry of Culture, was held from March 23rd to March 31st in Skopje.At the ‘Young Macedonian Composers’ concert, held on March 28th in the City Museum of Skopje, composer Elizabeta Ilievska-Bete presented her new work ‘Tango Macedone’ for violin, accordion and piano. There was a great interpretation of the ‘Tango Macedone’ by the eminent musicians and pedagogues Anna Kontradenko on violin, Zorica Karakutovska on accordion and Katerina Kostadinovska-Gelebesheva on piano (picture above), which was very well received by the large audience, and the music critics wrote that this is an excellent new work.
