 Le concert final des célébrations du 20e jubilé de la Guardia Nueva aura lieu à West Park, Kokkola, Finlande le 9 juillet 2022 à 18h.Guardia Nueva dirigée par Raimo Vertainen depuis sa création (photo de droite), a célébré son 20e anniversaire (jubilé de diamant) avec cinq concerts différents qui mettent en valeur la multi-dimensionnalité de l'orchestre. Le thème de ce concert est « airs d'été pour un soir d'été ». Le public pourra également chanter accompagné par l'orchestre. Vous entendrez également des versions rap des tangos finlandais ! | Le XIIe festival Borgo in Musica 2022 se tiendra à San Marco d'Alunzio, Messine, Italie du 16 août au 8 septembre 2022. L'événement comprendra un "conteneur de musique vivante" avec des masterclasses, des ateliers, des concerts et des événements musicaux qui rempliront le village de culture, d'art, de chaleur et de couleurs tout au long de l'été. Carmela Stefano et Giorgio Dellarole tiendront une Masterclass au festival du 2 au 4 septembre. | Jörgen Sundeqvist et Päivi Mettälä se sont mariés dans la salle de musique de chambre récemment restaurée du Conservatoire de Prague à Prague, en République tchèque, le 2 juillet Ils planifiaient leur mariage à Prague depuis un certain temps car Jörgen s'y rend quatre fois par an depuis de nombreuses années, enseignant au Conservatoire, jouant, faisant le jury ou participant à d'autres projets intéressants avec son frère tchèque Ladislav Horak en collaborant avec plusieurs compositeurs tchèques. . Depuis qu'il a rencontré Päivi, elle a également adopté Prague dans son cœur et ils ont fait de Prague leur deuxième maison avec de nombreux bons amis. Leur témoin était Ladislav Horak et les demoiselles d'honneur étaient les deux meilleures amies de Päivi depuis l'enfance, Susanne Hamari et Kirsi Kero-Katajainen (également une excellente accordéoniste). Des familles suédoises et finlandaises se sont jointes à eux pour cette journée spéciale, unique et mémorable. Après la cérémonie, Ladislav Horak avait préparé un concert surprise pour les jeunes mariés avec certains des musiciens tchèques les plus en vue ainsi que des étudiants en accordéon du Conservatoire de Prague (voir photo ci-dessous). Les invités au mariage comprenaient l'équipe Scandalli, Lars & Sven Karlsson et bien d'autres. Après la cérémonie et le concert, tous les invités se sont rendus à côté du nouveau magnifique musée Jelinek Slivovice pour le dîner et soirée de mariage. 2022PragueMariage |

| "We never play a work as it is written, but always bring our own ideas and our soul to the music." Das Kollektiv, which includes Juan Carlos Diaz on flute and Raphael Brunner on accordion, engage the audience with improvisation, world music, virtuosity, and the eddies of dazzling group play. After having won the international Coupe Mondiale competition in Munich last year, the Austrian duo was invited to perform at the famous Sata-Häme Soi Festival in Ikaalinen (Finland) where they were acclaimed by an enthusiastic audience during three performances. Juan Carlos Díaz grew up in Colombia, Raphael Brunner in Austria. In 2014, the two musicians met while studying at the State Conservatory in Feldkirch and decided to merge their different musical backgrounds. After hundreds of trial lessons between lectures and instrumental lessons, they founded Das Kollektiv. What started out of curiosity and the joy of playing has grown into a professional ensemble four years later. In their concerts, the Kollektiv oscillates between classical and folklore - always fine-tuning their own style and interpretations. Their basic appreciation and fascination for the diverse cultures of this world make it easy for them to merge the different genres. When the Kollektiv makes music, music becomes a universal language. |

Le jury a décidé d'attribuer non pas un mais deux prix et trois mentions honorifiques. | "Shropshire Star" reporter Sue Smith included an article this week about music lovers Patricia Gallemore and her husband, Les, who are planning to set up an accordion club which will officially open at the Bayston Hill Memorial Hall in Bayston Hill. Shrewsbury, England on July 12th, 2022. The duo “hope to encourage musicians to come to the club and join in or listen, or learn to play in the future.” They also plan to attract guest artists to entertain members. Their first evening will be an “open night” starting at 7pm, followed by regular get-togethers on the second Tuesday of every month. Attendees will also be offered information about how to learn to play the accordion and provided details of events being staged across the country.  Bandoneon artist Sami Pirttilahti has been selected as Artistic Director of the Sata-Häme Soi Festival. The announcement was made at the conclusion of the Pirttilahti Tango Experience concert at the 2022 festival in Ikaalinen. He will start work at the beginning of August this year. Pirttilahti studied at the Turku Academy of Fine Arts and received classical music training. He has performed at international festivals with several of the top tango artists and was the accordion artist of the year 2020. "Sata-Häme Soi has an exceptionally long and significant tradition as a festival. My predecessors have done high-quality work over the decades. In the coming years, the festival's repertoire will naturally show and include my own preferences and the opportunities offered by my own network," says Sami Pirttilahti. The next Sata-Häme Soi Festival is planned for June 29th to July 2nd, 2023 in Ikaalinen, Finland. |

This trio from Israel, accordionist Nika Kushnir, will perform at a festival in Kfar Uria, Israel on July 13th, 2022. Nika Kushnir, is also a member of the Haifa Cabaret Trio, which entertained at the Hakol Kora Festival held at the Sirkin, Talpiot market in Haifa, Israel on July 7th, 2022. | The New England Digital Accordion Orchestra will perform at the Sturbridge Massachusetts 2022 Concert Series which will be held at Sturbridge Common, Sturbridge, Massachusetts, USA on July 14th, 2022 at 6pm. The New England Digital Accordion Orchestra, conducted by internationally recognized accordionist and music educator, Anselmo (Sam) Falcetti, is the nation's first-ever digital accordion orchestra and is a leading force in the evolution of the world of the accordion!  A new Accordion Association is being planned for young adult accordionists, aged from 18 to 29.The National Accordion Association (NAA) is looking for young adult accordionists who are “Leaping into their Future” while continuing to play the accordion. Regardless of their current position in this exciting new life, the NAA wants to support members of this group as long they continue to play the accordion along life’s journey. All of us know that this age group can use the accordion as a social instrument, a hobby, part-time income, and/or to develop a musical-related career. Will this “Young Adult Accordionists Association” be successful? The Seatons need facts before this question can be answered. As founders of this idea, college Professors, Drs. Norman Seaton and Sharon Seaton are asking all known accordionists to encourage those in this age group to complete the “Young Adult Needs Analysis Survey” that will close on August 1st, 2022. The Seatons will then make the “go or no go” decision. Meanwhile, Sharon Seaton will be researching funding to support this group of young adults as they continue playing the accordion.
