Accordionists Honoured at Museum, Recoaro Terme – Italyby Rob Howard |
Five accordionists - Pasquale Coviello (Italy), Renzo Ruggieri (Italy), Emilio Cervetto (Italy), Raul Varelli (Argentina), Mario Javier Braun (Argentina) - will have hand casts made at the 21st Raduno Internazionale Dei Veterani Della Fisarmonica (21st International Meeting of Veterans), at the accordion museum in Recoaro Terme, Italy. The event is set for September 5th to 7th and the event organizer is Elio Bertolini. - Pasquale Coviello, from Naples, is an accordionist, composer and teacher. He has written two method tutors, and is currently writing a third, about jazz accordion. - Renzo Ruggieri, from Castelfidardo, is one of Italy’s leading jazz accordionists and an international artist. Renzo 10 CD's and eTracks mp3 albums and printed music online at: Renzo Ruggieri - Emilio Cervetto won several accordion competitions in Italy, and is renowned as a great interpreter of the classics on accordion. - Raul Varelli, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, has since 1975 run his own very successful accordion school, and he also has enjoyed a long career as a performer. - Dr Mario Javier Braun, from Rosario, Argentina, has become well known in South America for his understanding of digital accordions. |
