2020 All-Russian Competition Held in Vologda - Russiaby Arseniy Strokovskiy |
  The 2020 All-Russian Competition for performers of folk instruments was held in Vologda from April 10th to May 6th, hosted by the Vologda Regional College of Arts as part of the implementation of the national project "Culture".The online competition categories included soloists, ensembles and orchestras for a variety of instruments including accordion and bayan. More than 170 people from nine regions of Russia took part in the contest, with programs including works of different styles and genres. Winner of Accordion Group A: Dmitry Ryzhov - Vologda Regional College of Arts (Teacher Naumov Vyacheslav). The competition jury included well-known performers and teachers of leading universities in Russia: Alexei Petropavlovsky (Chairman of the jury), Sergey Osokin (picture above left), Eduard Akhanov (picture lower left), Pavel Ukhanov, Galina Misirkhanova and Evgeny Shchelinsky.
