  The NAO North West Area Festival was held in Fleetwood Lancashire on Sunday 28th November, the 2nd Qualifying Area Festival for the NAO UK Championships 2011 following the Southern Area Festival in Wimborne earlier in the month. The festival was organised by NAO General Secretary Gina Brannelli, and was particularly well supported by the Craven School of Music under the direction of Harry Hinchcliffe. Outstanding performances by Alexander Bodell, who received from adjudicator Ken Farran (NAO Honorary Vice President) the highest marks of the day with 95 and 94 in the 15 & under Solo and 14 & under Polka categories respectively. Winner of numerous sections was Brandon Hindle and also of note was the popular performances of ensembles from the Craven School of Music.
