| Maximilian Pitocco, Professor of the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, began teaching a bayan master class in September 2010 at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music in Nocera Terinese. This has been organized in collaboration with the concert artiste Maestro Giuseppe Scigliano, owner of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory. The master class marks the beginning of a fruitful collaboration between the two institutions, and will make available a systematic and high level of training on the bayan accordion. The accordion class at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory has a considerable number of students, expertly prepared by Maestro Pitocco. The Director of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Maestro Pierfrancesco Pullia says: "We look forward to a collaboration with the Santa Cecilia in Rome, known for its professionalism, demonstrated by many extraordinary careers of their students, accolades for the teachers, and the quality and skill demonstrated by the preparation of students, with important results achieved on concert stages and international music competitions”. |
