Premio Internationale Fisarmonica
Cat. PREMIO (Prize)
for accordion concert-soloists (no age limit) - 2 auditions for Accordion Concert players-Soloists (no age limit) - 2 auditions In the first audition, competitors performing in the PREMIO Cat. for accordion concert layers-soloists will play:
- one harpsichord or organ piece by Johann Sebastian Bach and a programme chosen by the competitor including at least one piece from the original accordion musical literature of the following countries: Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. The first audition will last 20 minutes (including the compulsory
piece). Competitors admitted to the second audition will play:
- a programme chosen by the competitor lasting no more than 20 minutes;
- “Aforisma 1” and “Aforisma 2” from “Tre Aforismi” by Domenico Turi for clarinet and accordion. The clarinet player will be provided by the organization.
Competitors in the soloist categories cannot present programmes of their choice consisting entirely of transcriptions.
In addition to the trophy (to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of each category), special prizes and the following scholarships will be awarded by the organizers.

Cat. A
Soloists up to the age of 12 (born in 2001 onwards) - Single audition
Competitors performing in category A must present a free choice programme lasting no more than 10 minutes. Competitors should not present programmes consisting entirely in transcriptions.


Category B
Cat. B
Soloists up to the age of 15 (born in 1998 onwards) - Single audition
Competitors performing in category B should present a free choice programme lasting no more than 15 minutes. Competitors should not present programmes consisting entirely in transcriptions.


Category C
Cat. C
Soloists up to the age of 18 (born in 1995 onwards) - 2 auditions
In the first audition competitors in category C must perform a free choice programme lasting no more than 10 minutes.
Competitors admitted to the second audition (approximately 6-8 competitors) will perform a free choice programme lasting no more than 10 minutes. Competitors should not present programmes consisting entirely of transcriptions. In addition to the trophy (to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners), special prizes and scholarships will be awarded by the organizers.

Category D, Round I contestants not qualifying for Round II

Soloists (no age limit) - 2 auditions
In the first audition competitors in category D must perform a free choice programme lasting no more than 12 minutes.
Competitors admitted to the second audition (approximately 6-8 competitors) will perform a free choice programme lasting no more than 12 minutes. Competitors should not present programmes consisting entirely of transcriptions. In addition to the trophy (to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners), special prizes and scholarships will be awarded by the organizers.

Category D, Round II - Finalists

Cat. E
2-15 members accordion chamber music orchestras (no age limit) and chamber music orchestras with accordion and other classical instruments (no more than 15 members - no age limit) or chamber music orchestras with accordion and other instruments including popular and folk music instruments (no more than 15 members - no age limit) - Single audition
Competitors in category E must perform a free choice programme lasting no more than 25 minutes.


Category G
Cat. G - Light Music
Soloists up to the age of 18 (born in 1995 onwards) - Single audition Competitors in category G must perform a free choice programme lasting no more than 15 minutes. Category G is a Light Music Category including all countries and styles (not only French Varieté) as well as Jazz. In addition to the trophy (to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners), the following scholarships will be awarded by the organizers.

Soloists (no age limit) - 2 auditions
In the first audition competitors in category H must perform a free choice programme lasting no more than 10 minutes. Competitors admitted to the second audition (approximately 6-8 competitors) must perform a free choice programme lasting no more than 15 minutes. Cat. H is a Light Music category including all countries and styles (not only French Varieté) as well as Jazz. Category I
Cat I
Orchestras and groups without age limit, with a minimum of 2 members, either formed mainly of accordions or other instruments but where the accordion has a predominant role. The repertoire should be predominantly light music, jazz and compositions by Astor Piazzolla.
Competitors in category I should present a free choice programme lasting no more than 30 minutes. In addition to the trophy (to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners), special prizes and scholarships will be awarded by the organizers
